Frank's pov


"Watch were you going fagget!" I heard someone yell behind me, I turned to see a boy with bright red hair, wearing a blue jacket standing in front a jock. The boy with the red hair was looking down with his hair hanging in his face, he was holding some comic books in his arms. "I'm talking to you fag!" The jock said loudly pushing the red haired guy, I moved closer to listen. The kid with red hair still didn't look up, I noticed he had headphones in. The bell rang and everyone watching left to go to their classes, the jock and the red haired kid were still standing there in the hall way. "Can you hear me you little cunt?!" The jock yelled into the guys face, the red haired guy was now looking straight at the jock. His eyes looked dead, God he was fucking gorgeous. He looked at the jock with no expression on his cute face. Frank calm down, get a grip man, the guy was attractive but come on you don't even know him, I've never seen him before actually. The jock pushed him harder sending him slamming into a locker hard. Fuck Frank do something, I gathered my courage and walked over to the jock. "Hey man I think he's had enough, your late for class anyway." I said to the jock who looked at me and then back at the red haired kid angerly then walked away. I turned back to the red haired kid, he was looking down again with his hair covering his face. "Hey are you okay?" I asked stepping closer to him, he just nodded. "I'm Frank." I introduced my self nervously, God Frank stop being awkward. "I... I'm Gerard." He said tilting his head so he could look at me threw his hair, his eyes were amazing, I could get lost in them. "Tha... thanks for help...ing me." Gerard said studdering, now that is what you call cute, I thought smiling on the inside. I nodded, he just looked at me threw his bright red hair, I don't really know what to say. "I'm going to the library, do... do you want to come?" Gerard asked me shyly, he took his gloved hand and ran it threw his hair. I nodded, I follow him to the library were he led me me to a corner with two couches that were hidden behind tall book shelves. Gerard took his backpack off and put his comic books next to him, he sat on the couch with his legs tucked under his chin. I sat on the other side of the couch, he looked like a little kid sitting like that, he looked so small. He handed me a comic book, it was Batman, he was reading a Watchmen comic. We sat in silence for about an hour, the bell rang to switch classes but Gerard didn't move, he just kept reading so I didn't the same. After another hour of silence and reading Gerard finally moved and stretched yawning and then stood up. "Time for art class." He said as I gave him his comic back. "Oh I have art too this hour." I said surprised that he also had art with me, I've never seen him ever. He nodded, we walked to art side by side, I could see him looking at me but I didn't look back. We got to class and sat next to each other. Gerard got two sketch books out and a case of colored pencils and pens. He opened it and flipped threw a coupe of pages, there was at least a hundred sketches in one of those books, they were all amazing looking. Most of them were dark, like dead people, zombies, ghosts, and skeletons, others were people crying blood or bleeding, the guy was pretty talented. "All right class, please be seated so we may begin. Today we will be painting, you may paint anything you want." The teacher said to us and then sat down at her dest and started to text on her phone. So much for teaching is anything. Gerard got up and got paint, brushes, and paper, he then started to sketch on the paper. When he was done drawing I could see it was a little girl standing next to a dead guy in a marching band uniform, they were holding hands. God it looked fucking amazing, I looked down at my paper, I only had a skull with vines going threw it, oh well better than noting. I started to paint it in, by the time I was done we still had ten minutes left of class, Gerard was zoned out as he painted. His painting looked amazing, the little girl and the man were standing in the ruins of a burning city, there was ash coming from the sky and falling all around them. "Wow Gerard that amazing." I said when he was done, he looked at me giving me a small smile. The bell rang and Gerard got up, I followed. "What class do you have next?" I asked as we walked threw the crowds of students in the hall. "Fag!" "Cunt!" People yelled at Gerard as we walked past, he didn't looked at them or have any reaction that I could see on his face. He led us to the library again and sat on the couch like last time. He beared his face into his arms as he curled up into a ball. "Hey Gerard, don't listen to them." I said putting my hand on his shoulder, he flinched when I touched him so pulled my hand away. Gerard didn't make a noise or move for an hour, then he crossed his legs and leaned his head back to look at the ceiling. "They are right." He said quitly, I looked at him for a minute realizing what he just said, he's gay, like me. "Same." I said looking up at the ceiling as well, I turned my head to see him looking at me curiously. "You are too?" He asked quitly, he was sitting up now, turning his body so he was facing me. "Yeah, I'm gay." I said facing him as well, he was smiling a little now, he looked so cute when he did that. "Hey do... do you maybe... want to hang out sometime?" He asked shyly, looking down so his red hair covered his face. "Sure." I said smiling at him, he was blushing I could see his face through his hair. "I like your hair by the way." I said, he looked up, I was smiling a little bigger now. "Thanks, I like to dye my hair a lot actually, it was black, then I had blue roots, then blondish roots, and now this." Gerard said, the bell rang which made me jump, Gerard sighed, that was the hottest noise I've ever heard. Thank god we could go home now, I though as me and Gerard walked out of the library side by side. Gerard handed me a piece of paper that had a phone number on it, then he walked away and got in the bus. I got on my bus, ten minutes later I was home, no one else was home. I walked to my room and shit the door, then I flopped on my bed and get my phone out texting the number the the piece of paper Gerard gave me. 'Hey this is Frank' I texted into the phone, I got a text right away. 'Hey Frank, it's Gerard' the text read, I smiled at my self. 'What's up?' I asked 'Just got home' he answered 'My brother said hi' Gerard texted 'Tell him hi back' I texted smiling even wider, I wonder what Gerard's brother is like. 'Hey can I call you? I don't really like texting' Gerard texted, ten seconds later my phone was buzzing. "Hello." I said "Yeah, hey." Gerard said, I could hear someone in the background talking to him. "Mikey hold on I'll order pizza in like five minutes." Gerard said back to the person in the background. "Fine! Hey who are you taking to?" The other person said back, I heard Gerard yell, someone laughing and then silence. "Hello? Who is speaking to my brother?" Someone said into the phone, I could hear Gerard taking in the background. "I'm Frank, Gerard's friend from school." I answered back, Gerard go the phone back. "Hey it's me, sorry my brother is hyped up on coffee, and he didn't save any for me!" Gerard said the last part loudly, so his brother could hear. "It's okay, so whatcha doing?" I ask as I roled in bed to get more comfy. "Nothing much just watching the same Batman movie the the thousandth time. How about you?" He said as Mikey yelled something about pizza in the background. "I'm just sitting in bed doing nothing like aways." I said taking my sweater off to get more comfortable. "Frank I have to go, Mikey is freaking out because he wants me to order pizza, see you tomorrow, bye." Gerard hung up the phone, I smiled widely to my self, he seems way more happy and less quite when he's out of school, I can see why though.
