With a tear, I say goodbye

I was in mine and Gee's bedroom, curled up in a ball, Gerard was supposed to be home at 10, he's still not...I am really starting to worry. The phone rang, which made me jump, but that didn't stop me from racing to answer it.
''Hello, Frank speaking'' My voice was clear but shakey.

''Frank, we got told to call you... Would you mind coming to the hospital?'' The man asks, over the phone.

''Yes, sure..''I hung up, and started rushing out the door.

Once I arrived at the hospital I saw Gee being rushed in, I started running after the paramedics. ''GEE!'' I shout, he doesn't respond.
I run up to the room they took Gerard in, one of the nurses came out.
''Sir, Please take a seat, we'll send a doctor out in an hour, to tell you the news'' She pointed to the seat. I nodded and took a seat, in an extreme panic attack.

In about 2 hours I stood up, as the doctor came out. ''Sir... Come with me... He is awake, but... He has lost a lot of blood, so... he probably won't make it...'' The doctor said, as he held his clip board. I couldn't help but to break down into tears.

''Can I see him?'' I begged, the doctor nodded.
I walked into Gee's hospital room, and knelt beside him..
''I love you, gee..'' I whispered in his ear, kissing his cheek, not to roughly.
I started to cry, a tear rolled down my cheek, then dropped onto his lips.

That night the doctor let me stay in the room with him, but when I woke up, Gee was pale, his veins were popping out... I couldn't look at him.. ''Bye Gee.... I will remember you..'' I walked away, while tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I walked out of the hospital and hopped into my car and drove off...
