I should have never been driving

It felt like I had only played one note for the entire set. I couldn't keep my eyes off of the redheaded figure in the corner, probably on his third drink already. Ray had told me about the accident and why Gerard and Mikey had moved here. He said that Mikey made it sound like it was all Gerard's fault. I finally knew who Kayla was, why it was difficult for Gerard to talk about her and what he meant by hurting is brother 'again'. The fresh faced guy I met in biology who stood up for me and took a beating for it, the guy I think im in love with has so much anger and pain behind those hazely green eyes of his.
The weekend was drawing closer and closer and I begged my mom to let Gerard and I have a room in the hotel to ourselves on the trip this weekend, when she finally agreed I had to contain my excitement. After all I hadn't come out yet, I hadn't let her know the reason I wanted a separate room for us, is because I wanted to sleep next to the one I loved with minimal clothing and The Misfits blaring.
"You were great" I heard a voice behind me say as I walked over to the bar. I've heard that voice a thousand times. A voice that mocked me all freshman year. "What are you doing here?" I said spinning around to face him. I saw Jamie Stonem standing there grinning, his arms crossed in front of him. "I came to see Jonah and it just so happens I stumbled in on gig night.. You really were great Iero" Jamie said in a sarcastic tone. "Just leave, I don't want any trouble" I huffed, my body tensing up. "I just got here.. and anyway, I apologized to you Iero, what more can I give?" he said, a smile creeping onto his face. "It was a pretty shitty apology for you to then kick the living shit out of the new kid and then leave him under the bleachers, don't you think so?!" I hissed, teeth clenched.
I could feel my entire body filling with rage, if I wasn't at Ray's dad's bar I would have cracked that bar stool over his fucking head. He lent against the bar, still smiling "I was curious, he acted to boldly that I wanted to see for myself what it was like but well.. little Gerard was having none of it. kicking.. even biting. Its a shame I didn't get what I wanted, but no matter, I'll get it eventually. He's got it coming, the little queer"
I felt sick to my core, Gerard's jeans were pulled down, I didn't underestimate him, he is strong.. but when its three to one no one really stands a chance. The words that just came out of Jamie's mouth was an actual threat. "GET OUT BEFORE I KICK THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU" I yelled clenching my fists. The room went quiet, the clinking of glasses and rowdy football fans had all stopped in their tracks. I felt someone squeeze my arm "Frankie, stop" I heard a feint whisper come from behind me. "Ah, Gerard... Come to save the day again? not so confident now, are we?" Jamie scoffed.
Gerard pushed past me and pushed him back, keeping hold of his collar, "Get. Out" Gerard hissed.
Jamie pulled him in and whispered something in his ear and with one swift motion pushed Gerard back into me. Jamie swiftly left, the atmosphere in the room returning to normal . "What did he say Gerard?" I said quietly, still holing him close to my chest. Gerard shook out of my embrace and darted to the restroom and locked the door, never looking back.
I ran to the table, picked up Gerard's jacket, scarf and bag and used the fire escape to climb up into the restroom window. "Gerard?" I said softly leaning on the locked cubicle door. It unlocked and he pulled me inside. I dropped his stuff and pulled him into my arms. "baby, what can I do?"
I whispered into his neck,. "kiss me"

Two updates in two to three days?! I know, its a record but I feel like the writers block has gone. I've drank twice my body weight in holy water since the last chapter.. pure sin, I'm sorry but I forgot to give a shout out to my new friend Jonah for helping me to write the last chapter. You are an exquisite writer and have marvelous taste in music
