Out In The Zones

A quiet night, a night i will never forget out here in the zones. "You know if you keep staring out in the desert darkness it's going to drive you insane" i looked behind me and smiled and looked back into the darkness "Fuck it i'm already insane according to Korse and everyone else in that god forsaken city" I heard there feet shuffling in the sand and body head right beside me "Yeah me and you both" they said and sat down next to me, we stayed quiet enjoying the silence the night offered us "I wanna go back in time Thriller" I smiled slightly from hearing my nickname "Yeah i do too Brendon.. i do too" he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him and i laid my head on his shoulder "Do you honestly think they are still out there? The Killjoys?" I said quietly Brendon hugged me tighter "I'm pretty sure they are still out there I mean they were the first ones to leave Battery City" he said "Do you think we will find them?" i said quieter "Look Marie it's almost sunrise" I felt my heart dropped as he ignored my question.
