After All This Time

I wake up and Gerard's not there. But I smell coffee. I get out of bed, and find my boxers and shorts. I'm sadly to lazy to put on pants.
I follow the smell of the coffee, not really knowing where I'm going in this apartment. It's small, so I'm soon in the kitchen.
Gerard turns around, and smiles. “Damn, I was gonna be back in bed with a cup of coffee waiting for you.”
“You're sweet. It's the thought that counts, so I'll take that.” I wink.
“So, Frankie... Mikey tells me you've had a hard time lately.” What? I wonder which hard time he's referring to.
“What are you talking about?” I question, raising a brow.
“Well, with everything, but specifically... you're living with Ray now?” Shit.
“Uh, yeah. I couldn't afford to live by myself and he offered.” I stare down at my feet, awkwardly.
“Move in with me.” Gerard states. I look up, shocked.
“What?”
“I mean, we agreed to give us a go, and I think it'll work... Because, y'know we didn't break up over bad things. Ray is a slob. C'mon, Frankie.”
Is he serious? I really want to. And that's when I stop thinking.
“Yes.”
“Yeah?” A smile spreads across Gee's face.
“Yeah, I mean. I can even get my furniture, since you don't have shit yet. It'd be great. I already have practically everything.” I panic, and start using logic.
“Is that the only reason?” Gerard ask, his face falls.
“I mean, it'd be nice... to- to live with my boyfriend.” I spit out the last four words fast.
Gerard walks over to me and grabs my chin. “It would be nice. Boyfriend.” He leans down and kisses me gently.
“I love you.” I whisper against his lips.
“I love you too.”
And his lips are on mine again, moving slow.
