We're Damned After All, Aren't We?

"Fuck, Gerard, I feel the same, I've felt the same for a long fucking time."

After Frank said that, I couldn't stop the grin from making its way to my face. I leaned in again, kissing Frank as I lifted him into my lap. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, which I happily gave him. Our tongues fought for dominance, which I, suprisingly won.

Before I knew what was happening, Frank had leaned back, taking me with him, so I was hovering over him. I took my opportunity to kiss along his jaw line and to his neck, where I wasted no time sucking and softly biting his skin.

I'm sure things would have advanced to something much better then just making out, unless Tyler and Josh walked into the room. Josh's face, when he saw us was priceless. Tyler said "I knew that would work." I quickly sat up and got off Frank, as much as I didn't want to.

It had been about 10 minutes since Josh and Tyler had walked in on us. Frank and I were sitting on the edge of our bed, holding hands. Every couple seconds, Frank would brush his thumb against my knuckles. Josh and Tyler were doing various random things. Josh looked at us and said "So, what are we going to do about the whole bounty thing?" Before anybody could respond Frank said "Find the guy and kill him." I had to suppress a giggle as Josh said "Well, we could do that, but we need a lead on who the guy is. Or where he is." This time Tyler was the one who spoke, "You said that he placed a bounty on Gerard right? And you have no idea why?" I said, "Yes, and he's been sending different monsters to get me." "When did you die?" I had to think back, but before I could Frank answered for me, "It was August 10th." Tyler visibly paled.

"I know why you have a bounty. And I know who's responsible for it." I sat up, and waited for him to explain. "August 10th is a supposed cursed date. Its the 222 day of the year and is known for bad things to happen on it. One of the worst thing to ever happen on this date was a famous writer, Lincolin Steffens, died from a supposed heart aliment. Everybody thought the death was justified, because he was 70 something years old. Nobody ever looked into it much, it was 1936. Now, like I said, he was a famous author, but he was also a big time religious churchgoer. When his home was being auctioned off they found notes he had written about a man with raven black hair and brown eyes coming to see him. The man told Lincolin that he had big plans for him in the afterlife, and made Lincoln believe that he was God himself. When Lincoln did finally die, the man took his soul to another dimension, you could say. This upset Satan and he ordered a bunch of demons to go retrieve the soul he had taken, but not one of them returned."

"So where do I come into this?" Tyler sighed and said "Anybody who dies on August 10th, is bound to the man, in some way. I really doubt that it is the man himself sending all these monsters, but its definitely someone in his inner circle" Frank tensed and said "Is there anyway out of it?" Tyler shook his head and said "Not that anyone knows of. Nobody knows what happens to the souls he takes, they're never seen again."

As I processes all of this I asked, "So there's a guy after my soul who takes people and never gives them back?" Tyler nodded his head yes and I immediately felt sick. I didn't want to go, I wanted to stay here. I like how things are. I stood up, suddenly feeling anxious. "Are you okay Gerard?" I heard someone ask but I couldn't identify the voice. My palms started to get sweaty and I didn't feel comfortable in my own clothes. I tried to make a walk towards the door for some fresh air, but I wasn't able to control my legs. I could hear blood roaring in my ears, as everything went black, and I felt a falling sensation.
