We're Damned After All, Aren't We?

When we had gotten to the car, we weren't as wet, but we were still wet enough it was uncomfortable. I checked in the small bag I had brought from my old house and found two oversized t-shirts. I handed one to Gerard telling him "It will probably fit. As for pants well have to stop on the way."

By the time I had changed, Gerard had finished also. I sighed as I had missed out on a opportunity to see Gerard shirtless. When I noticed how my shirt was tight on Gerard, my breath hitched. It was tight in all the right places. I cleared my throat and said "let's go."

We had only been driving for a little while when Gerard asked the question I was expecting . "Frank, why did you freak out when you were in the water?" I sighed and figured I better tell him. I pulled the car over and turned to face him. Gerard was staring at me with big eyes.

"You don't know how I died, do you?" Gerard shook his head and said 'no'. I took a deep breath and started my story. "I forgot what year it was, but I had spent a rough night drinking. It was the middle of winter and everything was always freezing. i had wandered away from the bar, and was just aimlessly walking around, when I came across a lake. I don't quite remember why, but I decided to try to walk across it." Gerard's face has visibly tensed up. "The ice was pretty solid, but while in the middle, I slipped and broke the ice, falling in with it. At first, I was just really cold... I didn't even realize I was drowning. I was just sinking, thinking about how cold it is. When I realized that I was going to drown, I tried to get out, but it was too late. When I woke up, Luci was there to help me. I've been scared of lakes and oceans ever since... When I passed out earlier, it was because of a panic attack."

Gerard was silent for a little bit, the look on his face undetectable. I was about to apologize for telling him, but before I could, he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that." I awkwardly hugged back, trying to act like I wasn't freaking out on the inside. Eventually, I melted into it, and let my head rest on his shoulder. I felt compelled to thank him for earlier, and I was in the perfect position to. I was all bit whispering since his ear was right by my mouth, "Thank you, so much for saving me earlier. I owe you." I heard Gerard giggle and say "Its okay, you've done a lot for me too." I sighed and said "I don't know anyone who would do that over something so small. Thank you, a lot." Gerard leaned back and gave me a weird look before leaning over, and placing a kiss on my cheek. He held his lips there a second longer then normal and pulled back, saying "Let go meet Josh and Tyler." I nodded my head yes because I was still in shock that he has kissed me. Even if it was just my cheek, it was something.

The address we were given was just a state over so we didn't have to rush. We stopped by a drive through and ordered a salad for me, and a burger for Gerard. We had parked in a corner of a empty parking lot to eat.

As we were finishing our meals, Gerard asked, "Hey, why don't I ever drive at night?" I signed and said, "Well, I'm scared you might, yknow, get scared like i did earlier. Since you died at night and all." Gerard looked confused and said, "Frank, I barely remember anything. What happened?" I decided I'd tell him, it was his death. He had a right to know. "Well, I'm not sure what happened to lead to the car wreck, but it must have been bad, the car was crashed into a tree, and was completely totaled. You were killed on impact, the car was about to explode, but I was able to get you out before it did. When the car did explode, it was enough to wake you up. You should remember after that." Gerard nodded his head yes and said "I remember after that point." He looked a little distraught about but he story, and I didn't blame him.

Gerard and I had fallen asleep at roughly the same time, except I was first to wake up. When I woke up, my hand was laying on the piece of metal in between the front seats, entwined with Gerard's. I sighed. 'Its like the universe is yelling at me to be gay.' I thought. As I let go of his hand, I heard him say, in a sleepy voice, "Frankie?" I almost choked on air. He had given me a cute couple nickname. He sat up and looked at me with tired eyes. "Good morning." He yawned at me. I smiled and said the same back.

It was about midday when we finally started to head to the address. We got there about a hour early so we sat and talked for the entire time.

"We haven't had to deal with any monsters recently... do you think they called off the bounty?" I shook my head, "I would have figured it out by now." We kept talking about random things until we noticed two figures walking towards us.I looked at Gerard and said "Stay here."

I stepped out of the car and waited for the two figures to get closer. when they did, immediately knew they were demons. I turned around and gave Gerard a sign to get out. When they were close enough for me to see I noticed one had black hair on the sides and red on the top. The others hair was covered by a red beanie. When they we're about 5 feet a way they stopped and the one with red and black hair said, "I'm Josh, this is Tyler." I nodded and said "I'm Frank. This is Gerard." Josh have us a friendly smile and said. "So, what did you two get yourselves into for us to be called in by Satan himself?" I sighed and said, "Might as well get comfy, its a long story."

Notes

This chapter was difficult to write because I hate rewriting stuff a bunch of times. I wrote Franks back story for the main purpose of fillers.
As for updates, i won't be able to update tomorrow till late. Sorry about that...
But this fic has like 13 subscribers and that's 13 more then I thought I'd get. And almost 500 views, thanks guys <3
