You can say it all went well for Frank and Brendon. Brendon had his charm on and his speech and sarcastic remarks made Frank’s mom and Josh feel assure that Frank was being taught well. Frank was very amused by Brendon who was very formal and funny all at the same time.

A couple more days went by until it was friday afternoon after school. Frank met up with Brendon in the library. Their study session went well, and Frank was actually learning and understanding the problems presented to him. He did struggle with the last final steps but Brendon said it was a strong improvement in what Frank had already learned. Brendon shifted in his seat, “I think we’re done for today, Iero. Enjoy your weekend.” He grinned, placing away his written notepad.

Frank smiled as he put his text book in his backpack, “You know, when I first thought about having a tutor, I thought it would’ve been .. hard. But you make it easy, you know?” He looked at Brendon who was already looking at him, “I want to thank you .. for taking the time to help me.”

Brendon paused before chuckling, “Well, I’m not exactly doing it for free, am I?” Frank grinned as they both got up. They didn’t say much as they both headed out the library, side by side. Brendon looked over to Frank who was checking his phone. Brendon tucked in his lips before abruptly asking, “Are you free by any chance this weekend?”

Frank looked up from his phone, “I think we did enough studying, don’t you?” He laughed.

Brendon gave a small smile, “Yes, I’m aware of that. I was thinking more of a date.”

Frank flushed, “Thanks but I have a boyfriend.”

Brendon awkwardly scratched the back of his head, “Oh-right. Of course you do. It’s not surprising.” He smirked. He stood there, waiting for Frank to say something but he didn’t. So Brendon pulled out his business card and a pen, scribbling his number on the back, “It’s my personal number. Call me if you ever need me-for anything.”
Frank took the card, “Thank you.” He glanced up at Brendon who was already heading towards his car, “Have a nice weekend, Iero.”

Frank planned to. He didn’t want to do anything this weekend. He just wanted to write his fanfiction which hadn’t been updated in a very long time. He just wanted to change into lazy clothes, crack open a window, make tea, and update. Frank could feel his phone vibrate. He pulled it out from his pocket and answered it, “Hello?”

“Hey! Frank, it’s Sammy. I’m just letting you know I’m picking you up from your house tomorrow night.”

“Actually, I was planning to-”

“No, no, no-remember what I said. You are going out, you need to relax and party!” She laughed on the other end, “Tomorrow night.”
