But Frank already left out the door, slamming it behind him. Gerard stood there, unable to move. He frowned as he sat on the couch, still staring at the door. There was a moment of silence before the door opened again. Gerard jumped onto his feet, expecting Frank. Instead, it was Mikey. Mikey raised a brow, “Expecting someone else?”

Gerard shook his head, “No, it was dumb of me to even think he’d even come back.”

Mikey sat on the couch, and Gerard did the same. The two were quiet until Mikey murmured, “I’m sorry about last night .. “

Gerard waved his hand, “It’s whatever, it’s fine.”

“Is it?” Mikey asked, staring at Gerard.
