Dark Carnival

"So....about the phone call." Mikey said. I put my coffee down and played with my hands.

"When I picked up this guy just...he said I knew who he was when I asked who he was." I said quietly. Mikey frowned and scooted closer to me, he lifted up the blanket and sat on my side. I wrapped my arm around him played with his hair.

"I don't know how to help Gee..." He said sadly. I stopped petting him and lkied my head atop of his and sighed.

"You don't have to do anything Mikes. It was probably someone just making stupid prank call." Mikey looked up at me and grabbed my hand.

"I know but.....You just get yourself so worked up about it."

Mikey was right. I always did that when something stupid happened. Just last week someone knocked on his door and they were gone when he got there. Turns out it was just Ray coming to drop off Gerard's sketch book he left at his house. Gerard glanced at the time showing from the cable box and realized it was already three. Gerard looked at Mikey and realized he was falling asleep and his lap. Gerard shook Mikey's shoulder making him groan.

"No ma five more minutes....." Mikey moaned shoving his face into Gerard stomach and letting out a long breath.

"Mikey I'm not ma." Gerard said patting his brothers cheek. Mikey pushed himself up with his hands looking at Gerard and realizing he was right.

"Sorry Gee." He mumbled. Gerard rubbed Mikey's back as he lied back down on his stomach and curling his arms to his chest. Which was a very bad idea when he elbowed Gerard balls.

"FUCK!" Gerard screamed pushing Mikey off of him and cradling his poor babies. Mikey was wide awake and apologizing multiple times as Gerard lied on the floor in agony.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry Gee I swear I didn't mean to!!" Gerard turned over to look at Mikey, then proceeding to flip him off jokingly while he tried to be in less pain. Mikey's face fell obviously not getting that it was a joke. He bowed his head and slowly walked to his bedroom, leaving Gerard in the living room now feeling like the most horrible person in the world.
