My Ferard Romance

(Mikey pov)
One week later:

So me and Kristen have been dating dor three months now and we are getting along great. We love to just hang around the house and talk about are favorite things like music, video games and other things like that.

I'm nervous and excited because tomorrow Gerard and Frank are coming to visit and I haven't seen them since they moved in. And we want to know how they're holding up. After what happened no one has been able to get in or out of the Manhattan. Everything all the bridges, tunnels and boats have been shut down. But they have just reopened two bridges, one only to Jersey and one only to Long Island. So the one to Jersey is the one their taking.
Its been really quiet around here they've closed down all airports in or around the city.

Anyway, Kristen and I are going to her place and I'm going to meet her parents and I'm so nervous. I hope they like me.
A few days ago I got a call form Gerard and he asked me if I wanted to start a band with him, I want to talk to him about this, so I'm waiting till he gets here to explains to him.

(Gerard pov)
~The next day~

So Frank and I are going to Jersey to visit our parents. We're suppose to leave in a few minutes. We have to take a taxi because my cars at home.
"Come on Frankie! The texi's waiting" I said going out the door.
"Coming!" Frank shouted from the other room. Then we went down to the taxi, and headed to Jersey.

When we arrived at my parents house I paid the taxi and it left and we walked up to the front door. Mikey answers the door.
"Mikey!" We said together.
"Gerard! Frank!" Mikey said excitedly.
"Come in, come" he continued to us.
As we were walking in to the house.
"So, how's everything going Mikey?" I asked him.
"Alright, quiet, I guess" he said back.

When we got there my parents, mostly my mother, were excited to see our engagement rings and then they keep asking us when we were going to get married and if we wanted a family and how we would do that. You know usual questions people ask when a couple gets engaged. So it was to be expected.

Anyway, the other thing they asked us was how we were holding up after what happened in the city. So I told them that the city is pretty quiet these days. And another thing that my mother asked was how school going for the both of us. I said that's is fine and Frank said the same thing.
I then said that we can only stay till morning cause we were going to visit Frank's mother. Once we were all done answering the questions from my parents we went to my old room.

Mikey followed us.
"So Gerard, what was up with that call the other day, saying that you wanted to start a band?" Mikey asked me.
"Oh, yeah when I got home on the 11th I wrote some words together and when Frank got home (motioning to him) said that it could be a song and that I should sing it in a band." I explained to him.
"Listen Gerard,..." Mikey started to say.
"I don't think that it's a good idea that's all, it's a lot of work and you have to be completely dedicated to it. You know if love to do it with you, but I'm not going to drop out of college yet and then what's going to happen to Kristen and I...?" He continued to explain.
I thought for a moment.
"Look mikes, I get it, maybe I'm rushing it, I'm in college too, I'll think about more and maybe wait a year or so." I paused.
"Thanks Mikey for putting it into perspective for me." I continued.
"No problem, your my brother, it's my job to look out for you" he said.
"No it's MY job I'm older then you, I've been doing it your whole life Mikey" I added.
"And now it's my turn Gee, yes your older, but still brothers and that's what brothers do."Mikey said.
I pulled him into a hug and then Frank joined us as though we were all already brothers, yet we are. And it was a good moment.

When we woke up in the morning, we had coffee and something to eat. After we said bye to my parents and Mikey then we left. We were off to see his mom, and make sure that we're on good terms. When we got there, his mother hugged him and then Frank told her that were engaged, she seemed shocked. But then she was ok with it. She then gave me hug and welcomed me, I was uncomfortable, because I remember what she did to Frank when she was drunk, but I had to get over it (at least for now).

Then she had us come inside and apologize to Frank for her actions. Then she asked us about our plans. But we hadn't planned anything yet. So there wasn't anything to say about it. Then just when things couldn't get more awkward, it did.
His mother said that since she had found out about his father he had reached out to her and he wants to try and apologizes and possibly get back in touch with Frank and his mother.

Frank just sat there in disbelief and shock. I can tell that there's a part of him that wants to see him cause they were close, but then there's a part of him that doesn't want to see him because What he did was unforgivable.
"No! There's no way I want to see him again, I can't, I won't, what he did was unforgivable" Frank exclaimed.
So as awkward the situation was I nudged Frank and motioned to my fake watch (which means it's time to go) and Frank said "Oh what do you know, the time, we'd better go? Don't you think?" He said looking at me.

Them this mother jumped in saying "At least think about it and get back to me ok sweetie" Frank nodded and we got up and left. To head back to the city. And to the apartment.

~Later that day~
"Well that was an interesting day we had, huh Frank?" I asked him. And he just looked at me and nodded. I know somethings bothering him.
"Frank I know your confused about your father, you don't have to go..." I said.
"I don't want to, now out of the blue he wants to ask for forgiveness. I hate him" he said.
"Can we try and forget this gee?" He continued.
"Ok, no more talking about it, we'll focus on us" I said.

I went to our room to undress and go to bed when Frank followed me and started to kiss me and I think you know what happens next.
