Friends Aren't Easy To Make, But Lovers Are A Different Story

Gerard's POV


After three hours of laughing, arguing, getting off topic, and discussing Jaime Preciado's gorgeous hair, we had finally written a short romance play to present to the drama class next week. It's about two lovers who are tragically separated by war. Eventually they are reunited, and at the end of the play, they share a passionate kiss. The kiss part was my idea. Okay, yes I will admit I may be falling for Frank. I don't think he feels the same way though. I'm pretty sure he's straight. I however, am bisexual.
"Gerard!" Frank said, snapping me out of my trance.
"Um, yeah?" I asked, embarrassed. I'm pretty sure I was staring at him.
"Let's rehearse the last scene." He said. Oh, yeah. That's the kissing scene.
"Uh, okay." I mumbled.
Frank looked down at his script. I could tell he was going to have trouble presenting this.
"Uh, Charles, you are like, um, a flame in my heart. I love you." Frank read shakily.
"And I love you, Henry." I said, trying to hide my blush.
My heart was beating fast and we both knew what would have to come next. Frank's face was as red as mine as he closed his eyes and slowly leaned in the kiss me. I wrapped my arms around his waist and our lips connected. It felt like a bomb exploded inside my chest. Frank cupped my cheeks in his hands and our lips lingered on each other's for a few seconds more. We pulled away from each other awkwardly stayed silent for a minute.
"Gerard, I really like you. Like as in more than an acting partner." Frank said quietly.
"More than an acting partner works for me too." I said, smiling.
"Hey, Gee?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, Frankie?" I replied.
"Can we practice the last scene again?"
