Killjoys x Reader: Let go

"Where you two?? It's been a few hours since you guys left!" Fun Ghoul said, stretching his sleepy muscles. "Hours?? Wow, I didn't even realize. I left my watch here." I said, completely lying. "Oh..well ok." He said, yawning softly. "Did you guys have fun??" Party Poison asked, fixing his bed hair. "Yeah, totally! We smashed these robot bir-AH!" Motor Baby started to say then I kicked her slightly to get her to shut up while I breaked out in a cold sweat. "Robot...birds??" Fun Ghoul and Jet Star said in unison. I glared at her and she gave a small nervous smile and laugh. "So, would you like to tell us what really happened??" Party Poison said, crossing his arms and shifting his weight to his left side. I sighed and shuffled my feet a little. "We..we were being followed. The BLI programmed these things that looked like vultures and they were flying over us. But i took care of them so it's fine." I said. "Why didn't you call us?!" Party Poison exclaimed. "Because i didn't want you to worry!!" I snapped back. He just grunted in annoyance and paced the floor slowly as everyone went dead silent. "You weren't hurt though, right??" He asked, not looking at me. "Yeah.." I said quietly and he sighed and nodded. "Well...okay then." He said, turning on his heel and walked out. I looked at him confused then back at the guys, who were also confused. "I..." Was all i could say. Did i do something wrong? I looked over at Motor Baby but she didn't look at me. I probably did do something...but what? "You should of said something, (Your Killjoy name)..." Fun Ghoul said quietly and I looked at him. "What?? I was fine! I took care of it!" "Still.." "Yeah, Ghoul is right. If something is happening and your not with one of us you gotta report in." Kobra Kid said. "Well may I remind you that I've only been with you guys for like, 4 months?? I'm still getting used to this AND the protocols!" I said, getting a little mad. This is so stupid! What the hell are they talking about?? Jet Star just sighed. "Alright alright calm down!" He said and I just looked away. "Look this'll all blow over, okay?? It was just a mistake." Fun Ghoul said and I nodded. "Its just the reason it put Party on edge was because it builds trust between us that we can count on eachother to be there for eachother. And that we are the only hope for people in this world. We need to stick together, and no solo fights." Kobra said and I just nodded, understanding. "Alright..." I said, setting my headset down. "So, did you guys get a lead while Me and Motor Baby were gone??" I asked. "Yeah. And actually, the lead makes sense now!" Fun Ghoul said. "Oh?" I said. "Yeah. The lead was that some exterminators or something was going out on a mission. The mission was probably to spy and it makes sense now because of what you said about those robots." Jet Star said. I nodded my head. "Oooh okay." I said. "So, should we go??" I ask again. They all nodded, but Jet Star paused. "Well actually, that's upto Party Poison." He said. As if on cue Party Poison comes in at the saying of his name. "Yeah?" He said, leaning on the side of the door. "Are we gonna bust some heads, or what?" Fun Ghoul said with a cocky smirk and Party Poison grinned. "Heell yeah we are. Cmon gang, let's go..!" He said, running out back to the garage and we all followed close behind. We all ran into the garage and hopped into the car and backed out of the driveway. "Wait, Party can I bring my cat??" Motor asked him. "Awe geez you kiddin' me?? That cat gives me the creeps!" Party Poison said shaking his head and she pouted. I just smiled and went into my little purse and gave her some candy, which made her face immediately light up and she ate them happily as she sat down on my lap. As we sped towards S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W laboratories, I got that feeling again...that feeling that we were being watched..and I was right.
....At S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W....
"Those robots was a horrible plan on your part.." Korse scolded one of his exterminator allies. "Well it was worth a try...We had to shut them down because she found out so quickly..." She said back at him. He growled underneath his breath, rubbing his temples. "Do we have any idea where their whereabouts is right now?" He asked her and she walked over to a control panel and looked at the high tech map. "No..we do not." She answered hesitantly. "Hm.." He grunted softly. "Well, all we can do now is wait." He said simply, getting up from his chair and walking out of the room, the exterminator bowed her head in respect as he did. "Those stupid bastards....I WILL get her back.." He muttered to himself.
