GHOST

It has been a year since Frank and I met once again. We've been happy together, no signs of Bert since then. Paranoia haunted us for a few months but we got over it. Now, Frank and I are in the same apartment. Since I was gone for two years, Frank and Mikey had to move my things from one apartment to another. Frank and Mikey got along just fine, which was a good thing. Mikey panicked when he noticed I was gone, Frank told him that I was on some trip for some art business.

About a month ago I got an email and some letters from DC Comics. They asked me to send them ideas for a story and I did. Two weeks later, today, they told me to come in for a meeting. I am kind of psyched, they told me to call in and schedule an appointment.

"Gerard?" Frank interrupted my thought train.

"Yes?" I asked as I entered the living room, where he laid on the couch watching Dracula.

"The band and I decided to break up." He said softly as he put his phone on the coffee table that separated the TV and couch.

"Okay, are you okay babe?"

"I walked towards him."

"Not really. I mean what am I supposed to do? Get a job? Because right now in this day and time, I don't think they'd let a gay man with tattoos all over him get a job." He explained.

"I know." I sat down as he sat up.

"What am I going to do?" He put his face in his hands, rubbing his eyes with his palms.

"Well, I don't know if this helps but I can share some good news with you." I said as I sat closer.

"What is it?" He looked at me, sounding stressed.

"Well," I leaned over to put one arm to his back and the other around his chest, "I was told to schedule a meeting with DC Comics and I believe they're offering me a job."

Frank's face was looking at the TV but then quickly turned his full attention to me, "What was that baby?!" He practically jumped into the air, making me pull my arms to my lap.

"I was told to schedule a meeting with DC Comics." I smiled at him.

"You got to be kidding me!?" He jumped and smiled.

"Nope." I got out of the couch and walked towards him, "Not a single bit."

"I'm so happy for you Gee!" He stood on the tips of his toes and wrapped his arms around my neck and buried his face in the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around his waist and set my head on his shoulder and turn to his neck.

"Really?" I breathed on his neck.

"Yes, very happy." He pulled out of the hug but kept his hands on my neck and mine on his hips.

"With that news it also brings me to say, do you want to go on a road trip to California?" I asked.

"I'd love to go on a road trip babe!" He yelled and pulled me in for a kiss. "When will we be going?" He asked out of excitement.

"Whenever you'd like to but I think we should go soon. Don't want to leave DC Comics hanging."

"Not at all. We should go in like three days!" Frank said, smiling.

"You sure you want to leave that early babe?" I asked.

"I am very much sure." He said kissing me again. "I'm just so happy for my boyfriend."

"Okay then. Well, let's head down to the bank tomorrow and get some money for the trip and we can pack the day before the trip, sound like a plan?" I asked, holding his hips and his hands still on my neck.

"Sounds like a plan, babe." He beamed.

I left Frank to finish Dracula and I went back to the art studio to get things ready for my meeting. Basically just the things I sent them and a different idea just in case. After I packed my art things I walked to the living. I laid my body behind Frank's on the couch and let him nuzzle into me. We laid there smiling and watching Dracula.

"I love you." I whispered in Frank's ear, breathing down his neck. Practically sending shivers down his spine.

"I love you too." He giggled.

I kissed his neck and looked back at the TV screen, "Maybe, if I get the job we can move to California. We can have a new start."

"That'd be great." Frank sighed.

We went back to watching the movie and laughed at the stupid parts of it. Frank and I didn't speak most of the time but whenever we did, it'd be about what our plan be when we go on the trip.

As we cuddled there my eyes began to get heavy and I tried to keep awake. But minutes later Frank had fallen asleep in my arms. When I looked at his sleepy face I smiled and got out of the cuddle. I turned the movie off and carried him to the bed. I set him down on his side of the bed and I laid next to him. I sighed and smiled. Frank's body moved closer to mine and I wrapped my arms on his waist.

"I love you so much Frankie baby." I whispered, looking at his face. I pushed a lock of hair out of his face and kissed his forehead.

"Love you too Gee." Frank mumbled, smiling and pulling me closer.

We laid together in happiness and my eyes began to shut, I held onto Frank tighter just to let myself know that he wouldn't be going anywhere for awhile. Then I fell into a deep sleep.

Like I'm already getting a lot of ideas and I already have a big plot twist for this...lol...anyways here is an epilogue..now I have to update the others...
