New Kid

I walked out of the classroom after Frank and stared when he walked away, when I saw Mikey waving at me.

"Hey." Mikey cheered.

"Hi."

"That bad?"

"Yeah, Gerard yelled at the new kid in the middle of the class." Ray came behind me laughing.

"Fuck off Ray." I groaned, turning my face at his direction, and then I saw he was with Bob. I don't like Bob. I don't hate him but I don't like him either.

"Hi, Gerard, Mikey." Bob greeted us. I sighed to him but Mikey was beaming with happiness.
"Hello Bob!" it is probably pretty cool to hang out with older people.

"How's the new student?" this is why I hate Bob, he always makes me remember why I was upset a minute ago.

"He hates me." I grunted.

"How about the name?" Mikey asks.
"Frank." Ray answered for me.
"Iero?"

"Don't know... do you know someone named Frank Iero?" I asked him.
"Well he's is very aggressive and he got kicked out of his old school in New Jersey when he attempted to beat up a kid who said he was short." Mikey answered. We all stared at Mikey wide eyed.

"It was on the news. You should watch them sometimes." Mikey said, trying to protect himself.

"I'll ask him when I see him." I said, turning around to leave.

"Where are you going?" Bob asked.
"Cigarette."

Time-lapse

We stepped into the cafeteria and I looked around the room for Frank. Then I saw him just stepping in the cafeteria from the school yard, that fucking liar.

"I'll go now." I said to the guys and left.

"Hi Frankie." I jumped next to Frank, "Went for a cigarette did you?"
"Frankie? And yes went for a cigarette." Frank answered.

"Yeah, it's your nickname from now on. And you don't have to go alone, just ask for company." I said, sitting down next to him. "Say Frankie, what's your last name?"
"Uh, okay..." Frank looked like he was deep in his thoughts, "Iero?"

"Cool... well you already know my name so I'll ask something more interesting, do you want a spliff?"
"Hell yeah!" Frank seemed to lighten up.

"Great, let's go."
