I'm Empty When You Go

Gerard Way swung open the door and stepped into his favorite place in the world, breathing in the aroma of mouth-watering coffee. He didn't even bother to look at his drink options as he shuffled up to the cash register. When he looked up at the cashier, he began to blush. This guy was cute.
"Tall black, please," Gee muttered.
"Will that be all?" The employee's name tag read 'Frank'.
Gerard nodded.
"Name?" Frank inquired.
"Gerard."
"Cute," Frank grinned.
"Wait, what?"
"Oops, did I say that out loud?" Frank giggled. "Anyway, that'll be $3.50."
Frank slid the receipt across the counter. Glancing down, Gerard noticed something scrawled at the bottom. Looking closer, he realized that they were numbers - a phone number?? Gee looked up through his lashes to see the cashier giving him a small smile and a wink. Gerard neatly folded the small sheet of paper into eighths and stuck it in his back pocket. Who knew, he just might give this 'Frank' a call sometime.

Frank Iero sighed and flopped onto his bed, spreading his arms out and closing his eyes. Why couldn't he just stop thinking about the boy, Gerard, that he met at the coffee shop earlier? They hadn't even formally met, but he was all Frank thought about. Why? Because he was just so damn adorable, that's why. With his long-ish black hair and slightly upturned nose, he just looked so lovable. Frank's phone vibrated in his pocket. After pulling it out and answering it, he heard a high-pitched, sort of nasally voice.

"H-hi, um, it's Gerard. Um, y-you gave me your number earlier?"

"Ah, yes," Frank replied. "Well, truth is, I think you're absolutely adorable, and I want to take you to the park on Saturday."

"O-okay,"

"I'd like to pick you up at yours - if 4's okay? You can text me your address."

"Um, sure."

"It's a date, then?"

"I-it's a date."

Frank grinned.
