Rebel love song

4th chapter

After spending a week on this school, quite a few things happened. For starters, after Alan found out I was hanging out with Gerard, he dragged me in an empty hallway and asked me if I was insane. I told him I wasn’t and that Gerard was actually really nice (I skipped the part where I’ve managed to develop the biggest crush on him under just five days). I’ve spent most of my time hanging out with either Gerard and Mikey or with Ray, Ella and Sean. I haven’t heard that much from Amy or Josh as they always seemed to be busy. I tried to remember if they were always that busy, but it just seemed different because I was seeing them at school every day. I was hoping we would be able to Skype this weekend, if not anything else.
It was Saturday afternoon and I had nothing to do so I decided to take Jack and Ruthie out. I put Ruthie on a leash so Alan wouldn’t bitch again. What did this guy have against dogs being loose? I have Ruthie loose every time I walk her because she won’t leave my side and in the three times I met Alan on my way to the park, he was complaining about how a beast like that shouldn’t be loose. What a little bitch.
The park was almost empty again. How can it be almost empty on a sunny Saturday afternoon? I really don’t understand the people in this town.
I was throwing Jack his ball when I heard a familiar voice behind me. “Your dogs are cute.” That fucker! I’m gonna kill him! “Jesus Gerard! Ever heard of saying hi instead of just creepily appearing behind me?” “That was my great entrance.” He smirked. “You’re an ass.” I muttered and he laughed again and brushed his fingers through his hair (which was way too hot to even be human). “Now that we’ve settled that, I have a question.” “Shoot.” “Remember on the first day of school when you said you weren’t into girls? Is it true?” He asked, his hazel eyes looking directly into mine. “Yes.” I said, my voice firm. If he had a problem with that, he can forget about being my friend. But he didn’t look like it bothered him. He actually looked kind of relieved, but I couldn’t quite tell because now he was looking at the piece of ground between us. “Um… so… I wanted to ask you this on Monday actually, but since you’re here… I was wondering…” He stammered, his cheeks turning pink. No way. He was actually gonna ask me out? “I was wondering…” “Are you asking me out?” His cheeks went from slight pink to full on red. “Well, actually now you’re asking me out.” “I’m not, I’m asking you if you’re asking me out. Are you?” “Um… yes. I am.” He smiled shyly. “So will you?” “Yes.” He smiled again. “Now? We can get some coffee.” “Okay.” I smiled.
We ended up getting coffees to go because the café didn’t allow dogs. But that was okay because we walked around the park instead. At some point Gerard slipped his hand in mine and I felt a storm of butterflies rise in my stomach. I squeezed his hand and looked at him, but he was looking down, his lips curving in a small smile. We walked in silence for a while, just holding hands and drinking coffee and ignoring the weird looks we got from old people (especially one grandma who looked at me like I needed Jesus). “How are your dogs named?” He asked after a while. “The little guy is Jack.” I said and looked at the German shepherd puppy that was currently sniffing the bushes. “And the girl is Ruthie.” He nodded and took a sip of his coffee. “I never really asked you if you like it here.” “Not that much… I used to live in a bigger city… this one is so small and it’s so weird.” “I don’t like it either. Everybody’s so ordinary,” He shrugged. “It gets boring over 18 years of living here.” He finished his coffee. “That was too small.” He looked at his empty cup. “I’ll need to make some more when I get home.” Before I could answer I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. “Hold on a sec.” I let go of his hand and dug my phone out. “Hey Frank, got time to Skype?” Amy asked. “Um actually I can’t right now… I’ll call you back later.” I knew Amy would figure it out in a second. “Dammit Frank, you’re a player.” She laughed. “Shut up.” I snapped. “I expect details.” She said before hanging up. I looked back at Gerard who was trying to hold back his laughter. “You heard that?” I took his hand again because, damn, I already missed holding it. “Yes.” He laughed and threw his empty cup in the trash. “Was that Amy?” He asked. “Yep.” “What do you say we give her some details?” He said with a smirk. Before I could ask him what he meant by that, he pulled me closer to him so I was facing him. “Oh. That kind of details.” I gasped. He smiled and ducked his head down so our lips were almost touching. But before he could kiss me or I could kiss him, he pulled away. I raised my eyebrows at him. “There’s literally a trash can five feet away from us. I’m not gonna kiss you here.” He explained. “Why not?” “Well it’s not really romantic.” “Alright, I’ll give you that.” I smiled.
We reached the lake part of the park, where there was more people, so I put Jack on a leash. “Some people bitch about dogs being loose.” I explained. “I think they’re gonna bitch more by the fact that there’s two dudes holding hands here.” “Imagine how much they’d bitch if we kissed.” “I think we should do it.” He smirked and pulled me in a hug again. I felt my heart speed up again as our lips made contact. His lips felt soft against mine and my heart was racing and I felt like my insides had turned into water and nothing else mattered in the world, but him kissing me. He slid his hands around my waist and pulled me closer, deepening the kiss. We were so close I could feel his heart racing and sense the faint smell of cigarettes, aftershave and something sweet I couldn’t quite describe, coming off his body.
We both heard barking and Gerard pulled away. “Mental note to self: Don’t bring dogs on a date next time.” I laughed as I pulled Jack away from the ducks. “It’s getting dark.” Gerard said. “Yeah... I should probably go home.” “Me too. I’ll walk you home.” He said.
We got to my house way too fast. I would rather keep this date going forever, but both of us had to go home. “I’ll see you on Monday in school, right?” I asked. “Yeah. I can’t wait.” He kissed me again, but this time it was just a quick goodbye kiss. “See you.” “Bye.” I watched him walk down the street, his hands buried in the pockets of his leather jacket. He turned around and smiled at me before going around the corner.
“Where were you?” My mom immediately asked. “Dogs.” I muttered, but she knows me too well. “Who was it?” “My dogs.” I tried to avoid the question. “You’re blushing.” “Some guy from school.” I finally admitted. “What’s his name?” “Why?” “I wanna know.” “Gerard.” I said while walking down the stairs. “Is he cute?” She asked. “I am no longer answering your questions.” I said and threw myself on the bed. I logged into Facebook and messaged Amy.
Frank: Hey
Amy: So who’s the unlucky guy?
Frank: -_-
Amy: It’s time for *drum roll* AMY’S BOYFRIEND QUESTIONS
Frank: He’s not my boyfriend
Amy: I don’t care. Is he cute?
Frank: Yes
Amy: Describe him
Frank: Do I have to?
Amy: Yes
Frank: Okay… well he has black hair that’s kinda almost falling in his eyes and hazelish green eyes and the most perfect face ever.
Amy: Awwwww. Short, tall? Also what clothes does he wear?
Frank: Why are you interested in all of this?
Amy: Because my best friend had a date for the first time in two years and I need to know!
Frank: He’s taller than me. And he usually wears black clothes. And it was one and a half year ago, not two!
Amy: Everybody’s taller than you. Do you like him?
Frank: Yes
Amy: Like, like like him?
Frank: Yes, I have a huge crush on him. Also that’s too many likes in one sentence
Amy: What’s his name?
Frank: Gerard
Amy: How did he ask you out?
Frank: I was walking Jack&Ruthie and he just happened to be at the park and he asked me if it’s true that I’m gay and I said yes and then he kinda asked me out
Amy: Kinda?
Frank: Well, he kept stammering and blushing (it was so cute) so I asked him if he’s asking me out and he said yes and then we got some coffee and walked around the park
Amy: Did you hold hands?
Frank: Mhm
Amy: DID YOU KIS?!?
Frank: Yes. Twice.
Amy: HOLY SHIT FRANK!!!!
Frank: Why are you so surprised?
Amy: Because it’s been two years since you kissed anyone!
Frank: You keep forgetting, one and a half year. And he’s a good kisser. It felt completely different than kissing Matt (was that his name?) because I didn’t actually have any feelings for him
Amy: How did it feel like kissing Gerard?
Frank: I’m not telling you this
Amy: Suit yourself
Frank: Okay did you learn enough about my date? Can we switch topics now?
Amy: Game of thrones is ruining my life!
Frank: As usual XD
We talked for a long time before Amy had to log off because she was sleepy. Almost five minutes after she left, Gerard messaged me.
Gerard: I drank too much coffee…
Frank: Hahaha, no sleep for tonight?
Gerard: Yes, but not for the reasons I want to
Gerard: Was that sentence even English?
Gerard: You know what I mean
Gerard: I hope you do because explaining that would be awkward
Frank: You perv…
Gerard: Yes I’m a perv and an ass
Frank: You’re really not <3
Gerard: Awww thanks
Gerard: Can I call you?
Instead of answering I called him and we talked until we could barely keep our eyes opened.

@ThatPolarBear
it's a phan (dan howell and phil lester) fanfiction and it's actually good but let's just say
it's the first time I've ever wanted to murder phil.

@petewentztheemogod
For one week and I know it's a short time but I really wanted to write it and then I realized that one week is too short to start dating someone so that's one of the reasons why I did the gee ignoring frank thing.
Also I haven't read that one yet, is it good?
