Mikey's P.O.V

I stormed out of the house in a fit of rage. Cancer? Vanya.....it couldn't be, though I knew that the doctor had to be right. Vanya...my Vanya....NO. I had to stop thinking like this. She was dating Gerard, my brother. She loved him and he loved her, I couldn't tear them apart. I thought Vanya was the most beautiful girl in the wold when I first saw her. I didn't believe in love at first sight, but Vanya changed all that. I loved her, and I knew it was true. The only reason I didn't speak up was because of Gerard, he never got the girl, and the way they looked at eachother was the way I looked at her and wanted her to look at me.
Music was blaring in the street, and people were dancing, drinking and smoking. I look up at the house before me. Yes, this was it, this was the place. I'll make them pay, don't worry Vanya...
