"Cancer?" I ask.
"Yes, you've been diagnosed with cancer, a tumor in your heart. It's a deadly form of cancer and there isn't anysurgery that we could do to get rid of it. The best we could do would be to but you on Chemo and hope that it will go away and not spread."
"My heart...."
"I suggest that you try to keep living life the way you were before. Don't let it get to you. You could die at any moment, with this form of cancer it is very unpredictable. I know this is hard to, comprehend, we can schedual you for treatments if you wish."
I felt like crying but I was all out of tears.
"I'm going to call in Mr. Way, so you can talk to him. And I will also perscribe you some medication to help you with being faint."
The doctor left and I sit alone thinking. Only seconds later does Mikey and Gerard barge back in.
"So are you okay? Can you go home with us?"
I sit quietly for a moment before looking at Gerard. My Gerard. Who I could be leaving at any moment.
"Yes. Everything is fine..."
