Vanya's P.O.V

Gerard was lying motionlessly in his hospital bed. I choked back a wail and felt hot tears streaming down my face. Frank pulls up a chair by Gerard's bedside and I sit down. Gerard's face looks peaceful, as though he wasn't in any pain, which he might not have been, but I was.
"Come back to me Gee...I need you.." I whisper as I hold his cold hand in my own. It felt familiar...I felt right.

Frank's P.O.V

I watched Vanya cry silently, never having thought that she would be here in the same room as me. I had always been in love with her. Since the moment my eyes met hers freshman year. I was a social outcast with zero friends...she was my first friend. She stuck up for me when I was shoved into my locker. She helped me when I was failing my classes. She was always there for me. I had always wanted to tell her the truth, about how I felt. But what would a social outcast like me be doing with someone as beautiful as her? Nothing. I watch her as she sobs uncontrollable. She took care of me and now I wanted to take care of her. Gerard had given me hope that people like us could be with someone like her...but now she was taken and I was too late. She was going to forget about me. I look over Gerard in his bed. Vanya holding his hand...I envied him. The feeling of being free...I begin to wonder what it felt like for him when he was falling. Something I desired...I had desired for years, he accomplished all of it...but now, it was my turn.
