Vanya's P.O.V Charlotte picked me up withing 15 min. of the call. I was sitting in the passenger seat with the radio playing quietly. It sounded so far away. Charlotte hasn't said anything about the incident, and I was thankful, I probably would've burst into tears again. We drove to her house in silence. I followed her up her front porch steps and into her kitchen. She sits me down at her kitchen table and puts the tea on. Sitting across from me, she takes my hands in hers. "I'm so sorry.'' She whispers. I feel tears coming on again and I just nod. Charlotte doesn't push the issue and sit quietly holding my hands. Frank's P.O.V I look at Gerard. His hair is matted down and is lower lip is cut. Despite the fact that he's broken a few bones and is in a concussion, he looks normal. Almost as though nothing happened, but something did. I sit at the end of his bed. I feel tears stinging at my eyes and I shake my head. I couldn't cry, at least not here. Gerard was my one and only friend. My best friend even. We had been through a lot. I was a social outcast and he was too, its what made us so close. I watched Vanya when she had been crying. She loved him, and with the way he used to look at her I knew he loved her too. It was true love. "Gerard...I don't know if you can hear me...sometimes they say coma patients can hear, but Vanya needs you...I need you." I whisper, and with that I break down.
