Vanya's P.O.V I watch as Gerard falls and whispers the words 'I love you.' I'm sobbing uncontrollably. I feel Frank put his arms around my waste and hold me tight, knowing that I might be crazy enough to jump in after him. I turn around and cry into Frank's shoulder. Ambulance sirens can be heard from below. "I called the hospital. Vanya, we should head down there." All I can do is nod as he takes my hand and leads me back to his car. ************************************** The hospital's air smelt think with something, I wasn't sure of what though. Frank and I were waiting outside of Gerard's hospital room. A nurse finally comes out. "How is he?" Frank asks. "He has a few broken ribs, a broken shoulder and is in a coma." She replies quietly. I choke back a sob and find myself crying and shaking uncontrollably. Frank sits beside me again and rubs my back awkwardly. "He's going to be fine." He whispers. Frank's P.O.V "He's going to be fine." I whispered to Vanya. Not just to comfort her, but I felt like if I said it enough times it might come true. The doctors and nurses look sympathetically at me and Vanya just sitting on the cold hard hospital floor. Vanya keeps crying and I keep trying to comfort her. "Vanya, it's been a long day. I think you should call Charlotte and maybe stay at her place, just until Gee gets better." She stiffens under my arm. "Gee...." She cries again. "C'mon, let's take a walk. It might help." I offer. I help her off the floor and outside into the parking lot. She takes out her phone and calls her friend. I watch as she explains what happens and I can heard her voice quavering. I let her into my car and we just sit there in silence.
