Two Lonely Outcasts

Frank's POV-

(just after Gee and Macey left)

I smiled as Gerard and Macey walked away.
I glanced down at my bandaged arm, wow I wonder if he really dose care about me...
I mean he could just be feeling sorry for me, but It's nice to think that someone actually cares about me.
I walked out of the bathroom and started jogging to the Science block where Gerard told me he would meet me...
I wonder what Gerard will tell Macey...
she can be very angry when someone doesn't give her her way... I shrugged off the thought and sat on the bench, waiting for Gerard.
About 5 minutes of waiting... I saw Peter jogging over to me... he looked angry....

'Why the fuck did you leave the class and not come back! I wasn't fucking finished with you, you stupid, worthless, fat, wanker!' He shouted at me.

I was really scared.... before I could reply, he grabbed me out of the bench and kicked me right in the balls, and then punched my left eye. I screamed in pain, and fell to the ground.

'Get the fuck off him!' I heard someone shout, I turned by head to see Gerard running towards me. 'Gerard, help m-'
Gerard running to me was the last thing I saw before everything went black....

Gee's POV-

I sprinted to them, and I was so angry, I punched Peter in the face.

'Why the fuck did you do that?!'
'What the hell has he ever done to you!' I screamed in Peter's face.

I saw Frank, out of the corner of my eye close his eyes, I instantly dropped Peter, he ran away the second I let go... what a wimp....
I ran to Frank's side and half picked him up.

'Frank? Frank!! please talk to me! say something! open your eyes!' I screamed at him.

He didn't answer.... I sobbed loudly and my tears fell onto his face.... I hugged Frank tightly to my chest... Why wasn't any teachers coming?! I glanced at Frank's watch since I didn't have one... 11 am... recess was finished, and the school was like a ghost town, everyone in their classes. I grabbed my phone and dialed the police.

'Hello, this is the police, what's your emergency?' A man on the line said.
When he talked to me, I didn't realise how nervous I was, I took a deep breat, trying not to cry. I got out shakily, ' Uhm, m-my friend, Frank... he get's bullied and a guy punched him in the eye pretty bad, and his head must've hit the ground hard when he fell because there's a lot of blood, and he isn't waking up... he's still breathing though...' I didn't know if the police understood me, because it all came out in a shaky ball.

'Okay, where are you? we will send an ambulence to you straight away, your first and last name please.' The police answered me.
'Uhm I'm Gerard, Gerard Way. The boy I'm with- Frank Iero. We are at Westlake High School...thanks' I said.
'Okay, it will take about 10 minuted, in the meantime try to stop the bleeding as much as you can.' He hung up.

I hung up and started hugging Frank, and I let my tears fall. About 5 minutes later, an ambulance truck pulled in the driveway, out of the corner of my eye I saw teachers running over to see what happened, and they were all shouting at me what happened to Ashley, but I couldn't- I couldn't talk, all I could do was stare as they picked up Frank and hauled him onto the bed thing, and into the truck.
I must have been crying because teachers were pulling me back and side hugging me telling me it was okay... but it isn't okay, my only friend that I've known for not even an hour, is going to the hospital. If only I was there and didn't go with stupid Macey, I would've pretoected him... Then I realised my new destiny.... to protect him....
