Vampires will never hurt you, or will they?
Chapter One:
Gerard's POV - Tuesday:
I sighed as I opened my study book to the requested page, 'How to control hunger urges', I looked up at the professor, Mrs. Lock, she was standing at the front of the class with her arms crossed tightly and he brow raised, she shot me a glare, "Read, Mr. Way" she commanded, I didn't hesitate to look back down at the page in front of me. I hated reading, It was so boring and useless, who invented reading? Who scribbled a few things onto a page and ciphered them into actual words? Do you think they are still sane? Were they ever sane? I began to read the first line, 'One of the many challenges of being a vampire is having to restrain your hunger urges', I raised a brow, Why did we need to learn this? We could control urges, of cause, within reason, the only time us vampires would ever strike is if we saw a human bleeding, basically if we could smell the delightful crimson liquid pouring from their juicy bodies, but again, this was all part of study. I sighed as I read the rest of the page, before the teacher spoke up, "Okay class, you may close your study books", I really dislike Mrs. Lock, there's something about her, something peculiar, she is a very dominant teacher and always seems to get what she wants, which can be slightly frustrating when your a student like me.
"Okay, class you may head back to your dormitory's" she smiled, she always looked like she hated smiling, like she had to force herself to get the corners of her mouth to curl upwards. I stood up and stuffed my book into my bag, I quickly adjusted my cape collar and left the room swiftly, heading to my dorm. I always had my own dorm, in fact I had never actually shared with anybody, until now...
"Excuse me?" I choked out, looking at the bloodless boy in front of me, he turned around and smiled, baring his fangs, which was usually classed as a warning, or threat, but it didn't seem like he was going to attack me, "Oh, sorry, I'm Frank, Frank Iero" He said, walking up to me and looking at my face, "I'm G-Gerard Way" I mumbled, I was never good at meeting somebody new, as my time here at Vampire High has consisted of me being taunted and bullied, so I never wanted to associate with students. "Nice to meet you" he smiled. I nodded once and shut the door, placing my bag on my bed. "What brings you in this room with me?" I said, sitting down on my bed and staring intently at the boy, he turned to face me, "I've been transferred here, and they put me in this room, I'm sorry, do I bother you?" he sighed, and I shook my head, "Of cause not" I mumbled, he grinned at me, "Great". "If you don't mind me asking, how come you're here?" I said, curious. He looked over at me, "I beat up a student at my old school" he said, which shocked me, Frank seemed too nice to do such a thing, but of course I couldn't judge him on first impressions. "Oh" was all I could say, I never know what to say, I'm stupid like that, he grinned at me, "He deserved it though, so don't worry, I don't just beat kids up for the fun of it" he laughed, I nodded, "So Gerard, tell me more about yourself", "Well, uhm...there's not alot to tell" I sighed and Frank shot me a funny glare, "Well of cause there is, one, your a vampire, clearly and two, you have awesome hair" he giggled and I blushed, "I, uh....thanks" I mumbled. I hated it when people complimented me, not that they ever did, I had a girl compliment me once and I freaked out and ran away, that was the only time I have ever been complimented and I fucked it up, anyhow, I'm not into girls anyway, so that could be part of the reason.
Frank sat down and stared out of the window, there were only fields to see for miles, which I kinda liked, I liked being in the quiet rural areas, It was perfect for us vampires, it was like our own little world. The only place that was populated was a town not too far from this place, it was built especially for vampires, for those who would rather be around their own than risk being in the human world then being institutionalized for killing most of the mere population. I shuddered at the thought, straight jackets and constant therapy, no thanks. "Its nice here, I like this place better than the old one" he said, watching as a few birds flew by. I didn't know what to say so I pretended to be intrigued by something else, Frank turned to look at me, "I'm glad I came here, you seem nice" he smiled and I blushed, Frank turned back around and I stared at him for a while, he was definitely a masterpiece, his cheekbones were perfectly sculpted, in fact, his entire face was.
