Boarder Line Badass

~Bella’s POV~

“Alright girls, warm up time!” Our blonde PE teacher barked at us. Me, Blair and Haylee put down our lacrosse sticks and did some sitting down warm ups. I noticed Blair kept staring and waving in a certain direction. I rolled my eyes when I saw who it was, the boys also doing PE. My eyes searched for Ash but to no avail.

“Guys I feel bad about Shannon.” Blair admitted, fixing her high pony tail.

“Don’t, she got out of PE.” Haylee chuckled.

“I’m being serious guys!”

“And so I am girls.” Miss called from behind us making me jump. “Now get into positions.”

I trudged across the field as I had missed the ball for the hundredth time. However, this time it had decided to land closer to the boys then I would have liked. I was bending down to retrieve the ball when I heard Blair shout,

“BELLA WATCH OUT!”

I looked up to see what I was watching out for when a cricket ball came hurtling my way. I closed my eyes preparing myself for impact. Luckily, it just landed on the grass and rolled towards my feet. A kind of chubby boy with jet black hair came running after the ball. I smiled up at him when he reached me as I guess we had both done the same thing.

“Sorry.” He mumbled, looking down at his feet.

“That’s okay.” I replied passing him his ball.

“So suck at PE too, huh?”

“Just a bit.”

He laughed, biting his lip.

“I’m Bella.”

“I’m Gerard.” He said smiling.

“Bella you’re taking forever!” Blair, yelled coming up behind me.

“This is Gerard.” I said, ignoring her rudeness.

“Whatever.” Blair muttered, turning me around and leading me away. Leaving Gerard stood there. Alone.
