Yes, Mr. Way

Tuesday:

I awoke to my mother leaving for work, I was definitely late for school, "Fuck" I snapped, getting up and looking at my phone, five missed calls and four texts from Gerard, he seemed worried. I grabbed my things and quickly left the house, speed walking, I don't actually know myself as to why I was so eager to get there, maybe because I wanted to see Gerard, or just to make me seem like less of a shitty and unreliable person, I went with the latter, not because I didn't like Gerard or anything, because of cause, I love him, but because I am already the most unreliable person ever.

I got to school and the second class had already started, science, I hated science. Our teacher had recently retired and we had a new one, Mr. Urie, he is nice but he gives off a sense that he doesant like me, anyhow, I don't blame him, I don't like me either. I sat down and quietly apologized to Mr. Urie, "I'm sorry for being late sir", he frowned and nodded slightly, "No worries, Iero" before smiling, what the fuck, no teacher has ever been this nice. Mikey nudged me, "How you been, Frank?", I forgot I sat next to him actually..."Good, Thanks Mikes", I smiled weakly, he nodded and gestured to my wound, "Better" I whispered, thank god he didn't mention it aloud, I didn't want the whole school going on about it. The lesson progressed rather quickly and I was in a surprisingly happy mood, I was still yet to see Gerard, it would be break next in ten minutes so I would see him then. "So, Iero" Mr. Urie said, "Where are red blood cells produced?", I thought for a moment, I knew this, "Bone marrow" I said quietly, he smiled, "Correct", A few heads turned to look at me but instead of laughing, they actually smiled at me. Almost in some sort of approval. Wow, people have really had a change of heart. "Even I didn't know that" Mikey blushed, "Lucky guess" I giggled. The bell finally went and I grabbed my bag quickly and left, waving bye to Mikey. I sped walked to Gerards room, I was excited to see him. I peered inside before knocking, I heard a quiet, "Come in", so I pushed the door. "Hey Frank" Gerard beamed, "You worried me earlier", "I'm great, I just overslept" I smiled, giving him a quick hug. He pulled away and looked me up and down "Your really happy today Frank, I can just tell, by the way your acting and talking, you seem, really happy" Gerard smiled, "I am, for some reason I feel great" I said. Gerard kissed me gently and smiled again, "I'm proud of you" he said and I blushed. "So, how about you see me tonight?" Gerard smiled and I nodded, "Sure" I said as the bell sounded for third class, "See you later" Gerard winked and I walked out, smiling to myself, for once I was happy.
