“9-1-1 what's your emergency?” said a very nice sounding lady, I looked around the room searching for the lady but then realized it must have been 9-1-1 talking. “excuse me?”
“Ah yes sorry 9-1-1, I picked you because my mama doesn't let me go to school.”
“Well little boy are you sick?”
“No.”
“So then why doesn't she let you go?”
“She says it's bad for me.”
“uh-huh and how old are you?”
“15.”
“Oh you are not a little boy. Okay when's the last time you went to school?”
“I've never gone to school.”
“Do you attend online school?” there are so many questions.
“Frank asked me this earlier, what does it even mean?”
“Uh..nothing what is your name?”
“Gerard.”
“Gerard. Alright Gerard what is your last name?”
“I don't think I have one.” I'm starting to feel nervous.
“Okay where are you right now?”
“At home.”
“I figured, but what is your address?”
“I don't know, my mama never told me what that is.” so many new words.
“Alright well don't you worry we'll send someone to straighten out the issue.”
“Okay thank-you 9-1-1.” What a strange name for a lady, I wonder if she knows it's strange. Well at least someone is coming to help fix this. It's 10:43 I'm really tired...but I have to stay awake..in...case....they come....

“Gerard!” I hear someone whisper shout as they wake me up, I feel my body shake and open my eyes wide.
“Mama why are you in here, am I not in trouble anymore?”
“Actually, sweetie, you're in more trouble than you would have ever thought. In fact, mama is in trouble too, but don't worry I know how to get us out of it.” suddenly I here my papa and two other men talking, I head to the window and look down. Outside the fence is one car, it says police on it, the two men are in uniforms. I see them put my papa's hands behind his back and lead him to their car.
Gerard listen to me those people are bad!” my mom says as she pulls me away from the window “they want to take you away and hurt you, but I know how we can be together....forever” I see her run to the door and lock it. She pulls me into the bathroom.
“Mama, what are you doing?” I hear people downstairs.
“Saving you from loneliness.” she says simply. She seals the bathtub's drain and turns on the water.
“Mama I hardly think it's time for a bath.”
“It's not a bath Gerard.” It's full now. She pulls me down to sit by her side “I love you.” she kisses my forehead and grabs the back of my neck gently, I hear a knock at my door, suddenly she shoves me into the water very roughly. She holds my head down under water. My chest burns after a while, more knock, I push her face. I get loose and pull my head out, scream and gasp for air, only to have it shoved back after only a second. I can't hang on anymore I breath in some water, it burns, all I see is black.
The last things I hear...very faintly....
BANG! BANG!
