All I Want Is Nothing.
You're Still A Good-For-Nothing I don't know.
Gerard knew. Gerard damn sure knew that Frank cheated on him with Frank's ex girlfriend, Jamia when he didn't come home last night.
Frank and Jamia have been hanging out a lot recently. Gerard wasn't happy about it. Well, he was pissed about it as a matter of fact.
Gerard asked him, "How could be friends with that vile woman?"
Frank responded with a laugh and gave his boyfriend a kiss on the lips. "Relax, babe. I will be back soon. Don't worry. I won't let her over step her bounds."
Gerard sighed and kissed Frank again. "Good."
The first time they hung out since he started dating Gerard, Frank had told her if they were to hang out, it will be as friends only. Jamia told him he understood and she just wanted to see him. Frank didn't argue and drove to her apartment.
Frank thought he could be buddies with Jamia. He didn't think it would go this far. He never thought one of these times, he'd go to a bar with her, she would drive them back to her place, and they would have sex.
****
Frank woke up in a bed that was not his own with his head pounding. He let out a grown and rolled onto his side. It took him a moment to realize what happened the night before.
"Son of a bitch!" Frank shot up out of bed, not caring if he woke up the woman laying next to him.
Frank scrambled around the room for his clothes and got dressed as fast as possible.
He reached for the door handle when he heard a laugh belonging to Jamia. "Going so soon? Not even a goodbye?"
Frank snarled and turned around briskly to face the black haired woman. "Shut the fuck up. This was a mistake. I love Gerard. This shouldn't have happened."
"Oh, but it did happen, Frankie." She smirked as she crawled off the bed and stalked closer to the short man.
"You know you wanted it, too. I could see the lust in your eyes."
Frank huffed out a breath. "Well, you damn well know that I can be a horny drunk who can be convinced to do almost anything without much protest."
Jamia smirked again and whispered something in his ear. "I know that, baby."Frank wiggled away from her and managed to get the bedroom door open and shot her a very pissed off expression. "You..you took advantage of me, didn't you?!"
Jamia laughed and shook her head. "No, no. I would never do something like that. I just know how you are, Frank."
Frank simply stared at her before answering. "Whatever. We're done here, Jamia. I am NOT going to let you sabotage my relationship with Gerard."
"Oh, but you may have already done that."
Frank's face began to turn bright red from anger. He ripped his jacket from the floor and put it on. He stormed out of Jamia's bedroom and out her apartment door, slamming the wooden door shut.
Frank fished for his keys out of his front pants pocket. Then he made sure he had his wallet in his jacket. He hopped into the car, starting the engine and sped off down the street to his and Gerard's house.
Gerard was sitting on the couch clutching a coffee in his hands when he heard the front door jiggle. Soon enough, Frank was opening up the door and stepping inside with guilt written all over his face.
Gerard cleared his throat from the spot of the couch. Frank immediately ran over to the other, chewing his lip ring nervously.
"Why did you do it, Frank?" Gerard's voice was hoarse from all the crying he has done since he woke up to an empty bed and no texts or calls from the other.
Frank gulped then took a deep breath. "I-I'm sorry Gerard. I'm so sorry."
More tears began to well up in his eyes for what feels like the hundredth time to Gerard. "Do you love her, Frank?"
"What? No, no no, no. I don't love Jamia."
Gerard sighed, but he wasn't quite sure if the sigh was in relief or because Frank wasn't telling the truth. "Okay, fine. Just tell me what happened."
Frank took a seat next to Gerard as he pinched the bridge of his nose. His head was still pounding.
"We went to the bar and the next thing I know I wake up naked in bed with her."
Gerard frowned at the shorter man's answer. "You're kidding me right? You don't remember what you did with her?"
Frank shrugged his shoulders. "I was really drunk, Gerard."
Gerard stared at Frank blankly, biting his bottom lip as he tried to keep himself calm.
"Look, Gerard. I know I fucked up. I know I did. But you have to believe me when I tell you it meant absolutely nothing to me."
"I'm not sure I believe that, Frank."
"I know you're not going to believe what I say, but please believe this anyway. I never intended for any of this to happen. I believed Jamia's bullshit lies when she said she can respect my relationship with you."
Gerard stared at Frank intently, listening to the other man's words. Frank's words seem heartfelt and honest.
Frank could no longer remain calm. He threw himself at Gerard as tears ran down his face. "I love you, Gerard. I love you so much. I will never forgive myself for being so stupid..I.."
Gerard shushed Frank by placing a finger to his lips, Frank's lip ring warm against his finger. Gerard had to choke back more tears himself. He didn't think he had anymore tears left in him.
"Baby, shhhhhhh. Just relax. You'll make yourself sick."
Frank sniffed and reached for a tissue from the box on the coffee table in front of them. "Why are you being so calm about this? Aren't you angry?"
Gerard pursed his lips together and nodded. "Of course I am mad. A screaming fit isn't going to solve anything. I learned that with Bert, remember?"
Frank made a face at the name 'Bert' and ran his hands over his face. He doesn't know what to do, say, or think.
Gerard's calmness is starting to freak him out, to be honest. He's not sure what's going to happen next, but it sure isn't going to be good because right now, Gerard is numb from all the crying he has done. When the numbness fades, things will be far from calm.
