Gerard stared into the boy's eyes. He could get lost there. He needed this somehow; needed to be looked at as something other than a piece of meat; other than what those dirty old men saw when he danced on that stage.
Hesitantly, Gerard raised his hand and waved his fingers at the boy. The boy grinned and waved back. Gerard's heart skipped a beat. His smile was so bright, so perfect.
Gerard smiled back shyly, as he tucked a strand of hair behind his ear.
Suddenly the door behind him opened, and his boss stuck his head out "Oh there you are.." Gerard turned his head ".. One of our richer clients just asked for a private show from ya.. And before you say anything, it's not what we talked about before.. It's just a strip, but in the Red Room."
The Red Room was where the dancers could take clients for lap dances, private shows, and whatever else they were paying for. Gerard had avoided it, so far!
Gerard looked back at the boy's window. It was dark. He sighed and turned back to his boss "Err.. How much is he paying, Josh?"
"Do a good job, and you'll get $30" His boss replied.
With one last look toward the darkened window, Gerard sighed and nodded his head "Ok!.. But he doesn't touch"
Josh knew he was one step closer to getting the boy to do what he really wanted him to. He smiled gently, trying to come off as friendly and sincere "Of course, no touching!.. Come on, get ready, he's waiting for you!"
Gerard followed Josh inside "How did you know I'd say yes?" He asked, timidly, as they headed toward the dancer's dressing room.
Josh laughed "The money!.. I had a hunch that would persuade you"
Gerard sighed, for about the hundredth time today, and nodded "Yeah!.. I kinda need it right now"
Josh nodded, opening the dressing room door for him "Good evening ladies.." He said to the two boys who were getting changed inside. Both grinned at him, but neither spoke. He turned back to Gerard ".. Hurry up and I'll take you down"
Gerard nodded as he slipped past into the room.
Taking off his jacket, he put his things down on his chair and reapplied his eyeliner and lipgloss, before patting more glitter onto his pale cheeks. He was still in his stage clothes; a tiny silver skater skirt and a cropped tee that showed off way more flesh than he was really comfortable with, so all he had to do was kick off his converse, and slip on his heels. Once done, he turned to the door, to see Josh practically drooling as he stared blatantly at Gerard's ass.
Gerard swallowed "K.. I'm ready!"
Josh snapped out of his daze and grinned wide, showing his teeth, and looking disturbingly predatory "Ok then honey, let's go.." He placed his hand on Gerard's lower back as the nervous younger man squeezed past and into the corridor. He kept his hand there as they headed toward the Red Room, and it made Gerard uncomfortable as it kept slipping down onto his ass.
It was only a short walk, but Gerard was shaking by the time he reached the big red door ".. Ok then.." Josh grinned ".. Time to shake that tight little ass of yours!"
He opened the door, and gave Gerard a gentle shove inside, then closed the door.
Gerard slowly looked up to see which particular sleaze ball he'd be dancing for, and nearly threw up on the spot "D..dad?"...
