I'm Really Not That Bad.

Things weren't their best. Frank was completely silent the first week, aside from when Gerard would come and visit him.
Now, Frank was sat in the lounge area, reading another children's book and half expecting Gerard to be there to laugh softly and call him cute like last time. But of course that didn't happen, much to his disappointment.
He'd been making it a point to force himself to eat more and hold down his food, and the nurses had been glad that he was making process.
Pete and Patrick were in the room as well, watching Frank with matching sad smiles. They had been helping him along recently, as Lindsey and Hayley had both been released as well.
Sometimes at night Frank would cry to himself, feeling like his whole world was falling apart around him. He was so used to the white walls and all of the routine of the ward and he wished that he could go back to the night that Gerard held him as he was unconscious.
Patrick came and sat down by him, writing something on his whiteboard. 'How are you doing?" He wrote, with a sympathetic look. And Frank didn't even realize he'd been crying until a tear dripped down onto the book.
"Not as good as I wish I was, honestly." He sighed, wiping away his tears.
The blonde nodded sympathetically, wrapping him in a hug. Patrick had always been one of Frank's best friends, even before they had been in the ward.
They had met at a party somewhere in Jersey, when Patrick had lost Pete in the large crowd. Frank had helped find him, and even if they rarely saw eachother they had been close.
Pete smiled sympathetically. "You're getting better Frankie. That's good. That means you can see him sooner. And you guys'll go out on cute dates and you'll be together. Really together. And you'll be happier than you ever knew possible." Pete assured.
Frank cracked a small smile at that, though tears pricked at his eyes. He knew it was true and he just couldn't wait until he really could leave.
He went through the next hour impatiently, running to the door of the guest room as it opened and engulfed a prepared Gerard into a hug.
"Hey Frankie! I missed you... anything happen since yesterday?" He asked, smiling and hugging Frank back tightly.
"I got weighed again. I put on ten pounds since last time." He said, though it wasn't quite clear if he was happy about that or not.
Gerard smiled, sitting down on the couch and pulling Frank down onto his lap. "That's great baby." Gerard kissed his lips softly. "Mhm... yeah.. they said if I put on ten mote I get to leave." Frank sounded a bit more genuinely happy at that. "That's even better!"
They were mostly silent for a while, Gerard just holding Frank as they sat on the couch, relaxing in each other's presence.
When it came time to leave, the nurses had to pull Frank away from Gerard, crying and begging for him not to go.
It broke Gerard's heart to see him cry, especially since he couldn't do anything to help.
Gerard was staying with his brother for the time being, searching for an apartment in his spare time. When he was with Mikey he was talking his ear off about the fragile fifteen year old he'd fallen in love with over the time he was in the hospital.
Mikey didn't quite mind listening, just glad that Gerard had found someone he liked and that liked him back. And he'd been off drugs since he'd been back and hadn't drank and was smoking less. And that was all that Mikey could have hoped for.
He couldn't wait to meet the boy that Gerard had grown to care for.

Hey so I'm thinking one or two more chapters of this and then maybe a sequel? Would any of you be interested in reading a sequel if I wrote one?
