A Brutal Romance.

Gerard held me tightly in his arms as we lay on the bed of the musky smelling hotel room, once again. Same hotel, different situation. It was only a matter of time before the authorities found us - but no, I wouldn't let that happen to Gerard. I'm the one who put him through all this, it was my responsibility to keep us safe and away from the law. I know that Gerard's blaming himself for all this, and he's right to, because in all truth, we were both at fault. That won't stop me from protecting him, though.

We made it pretty far, Gerard and I. I'm just surprised we even got together in the first place. Surprised, but grateful. This whole thing has been a mess, but it was our mess, and there was nothing we could do about it, now. And as long as I'm with him, and he's with me, I wouldn't change any of this for the world.

We were both still shaken by the incident of the other night. Despite the circumstances, it was nice to be with him like this, laying on his chest. His heart was beating all too quickly, and his breathing was uneven. I kissed his chest and buried my face in his shoulder. This entire thing was a clusterfuck, but we'd get through it. All we had was eachother, now. It was me and him against the world. No matter what we do now, there's no going back, the only option we have left is to just keep running. But we'd make it, and we'd be okay.

It's a beautiful, brutal romance.

Yo! So, I've never really written a fanfic before, this is my first one, actually, so I'm sorry if the prologue sucks. Hopefully it intrigues you enough to keep reading, and stuff.So yeah, pretty excited to get this thing started. I'm working on the first chapter, so I should update soon.
