Please Don't Take This Out On Me

"It's just one of my friends asking where I am," Gerard murmered; narrowing his eyes at his phone. I could tell he was lying. He was shifting his weight awkwardly back and forth and bit his lip harshly and I suddenly felt sick. "Wh-why are you l-lying to m-me?" I suddenly burst out and instantly regretted it after.
Gerard's face went from neutral to raging mad and he dropped his phone on my bed. "What did you just say to me?" I whimpered and took a step back. Panic filled me as Gerard took a step forward and clenched his fists. My heart was hammering fiercely against my chest and I leaned back against the wall helplessly. "Gee- please don't hurt me-"
I burst into tears and shut my eyes; sobbing and turning my head so if he hit me it wouldn't impact the front of my face.
But instead I felt his arms snake around me and hold me close to him. I didn't struggle but I didn't hug him back in case he was trapping me. "Baby?" Gerard whimpered; the sound going straight to my heart. "Don't you wanna cuddle?"
I practically melted into his touch and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'm s-sorry-" I sobbed. "I d-didn't m-mean to make you a-angry."
"Shh, Frankie," Gerard murmered. "It's okay honey." I nuzzled my nose into his warm neck and sighed quietly; relaxing.
Suddenly the door burst open and Gerard sprang away from me as Mikey ran in. "You guys! Come quick! Something happened to Ms Skybalt!"
