Don't Ever Think I'll Make You Try To Stay.
Til We Find Our Way In The Dark.
(Gerard's P.O.V.)
Frank and I lay next to each other panting after having sex two times in a row. I smile and curl into Frank.
“I can’t believe we found a house!” I tell him joyfully.
Frank kisses my lips, smiling against them. “I can’t believe it either, babe. It’s so surreal. I mean, we were just looking three months ago, and we finally found one.”
“That Jimmy Novak is amazing. Weird, but amazing. He really worked his ass off for us.”
Frank nods and pulls me close to his naked body. “We are very lucky.”
I sigh happily and shut my eyes. “Very lucky indeed.”
We laid in silence until we feel like taking a shower.
Yesterday, we received a phone call from our realtor, Jimmy and he said we got the house. I couldn’t believe it for one second. I really didn’t think we would have found a house so soon. We haven’t even been looking that long, and it was the first house we tried for.
This is all way too intense. Frank cheated on me. Our relationship ended, but then we learned that we could not live without each other.
After Frank and I were clean and clothed, we just decided to watch a movie and cuddle on the couch. We were feeling very lovey dovey since we got the call from Jimmy.
I was scared to death of asking Frank if he would like to rent a house with me. But he didn’t hesitate on saying yes. He still wants it as much as I do. I know now that we are going to be more than okay. We are going to be great.
After we are done watching The Nightmare Before Christmas then Robocop, we crawl into bed. I’m exhausted and hurry up in brushing my teeth and using the bathroom. Frank, on the other hand took longer than me. He was probably taking a shit. I dozed off before he got into bed.
As tired as I was, I forced myself to wake up enough to kiss Frank goodnight and let him hold me until we both fell asleep.

The next morning, Frank and I went out to breakfast.
We both got coffees to drink. Frank ordered himself a veggie omelet and I ordered pancakes. Frank just laughed at me because he says I can have pancakes any time at home and when I go out, I still choose to have pancakes. I shrugged my shoulders and made a face at him. I know what I like.
I’m usually more adventurous with my food, but I love pancakes. I can’t help it. If I had to choose to eat anything in the world, I would still choose to eat pancakes. That’s how much I love them. They probably aren’t the healthiest choice, but oh well.
Frank and I stopped to grab some things at the grocery store right after we left the restaurant.
“Do you need anything, Frankie?” I ask him as we enter the doors to the store.
“I do need a couple things, actually.”
I nod my head. “Alright. Do you want to go ahead and get what you need and we will meet up to make this trip faster?”
“Okay. I’ll meet you by dairy and we’ll check out. Kay?”
“Okie dokie.”
We then part our separate ways to do our own shopping.
40 minutes later, we meet by the dairy section.
I have a system. I get my frozen and refrigerated items last because I don’t want anything to thaw out too much or go bad. Frank told me it will be fine and that I worry too much. I’m only being cautious. I rather not get sick thank you very much.
We don’t wait too long in the line and are checked out quickly. We load up the trunk and hop into the car. I go to put the key in the ignition when Frank has an idea.
“You know, we should go inside and see if we could get some boxes.”
“That’s a great idea. Let’s go back in and ask.”
I let ourselves out of the car and lock it. We walk back into the store and Frank leads me to the produce section where we find a chubby blonde haired guy with glasses. His name tag reads the name Randy.
“Excuse me, but we are moving and we were wondering if you maybe have some empty boxes you can give us.” Frank asks the guy.
Randy sniffs before he answers. “Sure thing. How many do you need?”
I look at Frank with an unsure expression and shrug my shoulders. “As many as you can give us, if that’s alright with you.”
“Okay. It’s not a problem at all. You both may come back and grab some and I’ll help too.”
“Thank you very much, Randy. We appreciate it.” Frank told him.
We followed Randy behind two double doors and we gathered up as many boxes we all could grab in one trip. I had to hold in giggles because Frank looked hilarious struggling to hold so many boxes when he’s not very tall.
Randy, Frank, and I walked out to my car and Randy helped us put the boxes in the back seat. We thanked Randy again and we got back into the car.
I got us both home safely and we began to bring everything inside the apartment. Once all of our groceries were put away, I tried to figure out where to keep the boxes for now.
We don’t have a move in date yet so I don’t want the boxes to clutter up the apartment.
I put on a pot of coffee because coffee is an essential. I poured myself and Frank a cup when the coffee was done brewing. We sat on the couch in a comfortable silence while we relaxed.
I took out my cell phone and called Mikey. I wanted to tell him the awesome news.
“Hey Gee. How’s it going?”
“It’s going great! Better than great actually. I have something to tell you.”
“Hmm. What is it?”
“Frank and I are renting a house together!”
“WHAT?! Now?!”
I chuckled into the phone. “No, not now. We were approved for this two bedroom three bedroom house a few miles down the road.”
“Ohhh, I see. Congratulations. I’m happy for you and Frank. You two really are doing this then, huh?”
“Doing what, Mikey?”
“Staying together.”
“Oh. Yeah, of course we are Mikey.”
“Do you know when you’re moving?”
“Nah, not sure yet. I have to call the realtor for details. I was too excited to really ask about the important details.” I replied with a laugh.
“Well, let me know when and I’ll help you pack up your shit.”
“Sounds like a plan! I’m gonna go now though. I’ll call you tomorrow.”
“Okay, Gee. Love you. And tell Frank I said Hey.”
“Will do. And I love you too. Bye.”
My and Mikey’s phone call ended and Frank and I decided to go take a nap together. I wasn’t feeling very productive so taking a nap seemed like the best thing to do.
