Don't Ever Think I'll Make You Try To Stay.

You're The One That I Need.

(Gerard's P.O.V.)

I picked up a newspaper at a nearby gas station. It was time to start thinking about the future. Well, my future with Frank.

Our relationship is pretty fucked up, I admit. After what he did to me, I still took him back. Now that's either what you call love or stupidity. I think I choose both.

Frank Iero is the love of my life. And I want to spend the rest of my life with him if possible. Just for now, I am going to look into finding a house to rent. Just rent because I cannot afford to buy one. Although, I won't be living alone- well, I won't be alone if Frank wants to live with me again that is.

I grab myself a most likely shitty tasting coffee and pay for the newspaper. I begin my short journey back home and back to Frank.

Frank was awake when I walked through the front door. He was sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in his hand.

"Ew. Why did you buy that crap when you have good coffee here?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow.
I didn't know the answer to be honest. "I don't know."
Frank giggled and pulled me down next to hm, lightly pecking my lips. "What do you wanna do today, my love?"
I could feel my cheeks heat up instantly. "Umm..well, there's something I wanted to ask you, Frankie."
"Oh? Go ahead."
I bit my bottom lip, suddenly becoming very nervous. "Um...well...uh..do you want to move in with me?"
Frank's eyed widened and he chuckled. "What do you mean? I already live with you."
"I shook my head vigorously. "No, no. I mean..do you want to get a house with me?"Frank's eyes got even bigger as he pounced on top of me, peppering my face in kisses. "Oh my fuck..yes yes yes yes!" He squealed.

That went better than I had hoped..

I laughed pushing Frank off of me so I can sit back up. "Jesus Christ, Frank."
"Sorry..I don't know why I did that." His face turned pink.
"It's okay, babe. Now, time to get serious. Are you sure you want to get a house with me?"
"Wasn't that proof enough, Gee? Or should I do it again?"
"No, I get the hint." I giggled.

Later that day, Frank and I looked online at houses to see what we might be interested in buying.

Frank wants a big house. I want a small house. Which I found quite hysterical since Frank is so small and I am taller than he is.

We found a realtor who seems pretty good. His name is Jimmy Novak. He's supposed to be the best of the best. Frank insisted we give him a call first.

I called Jimmy and all I got was a voicemail saying he's on vacation until next week. I groaned and hung up the phone. Of course. That's the kind of shitty luck that I have.

Frank glared at me when I ended the call. He took my phone out of my hands and called Jimmy again. Frank left a voicemail asking him to call back as soon as he can and that we are very interested in using him as our realtor.

I just hoped the week goes by quickly so we can meet this Jimmy Novak and find out what he's like for ourselves.

I am getting a little tired of this tiny apartment, even though it's my home, it just holds too many painful memories for me now, and I feel like since Frank and I are starting a new life together, er a fresh, clean slate, a new house makes sense.

A week went by and Jimmy gave me a call back. He called me back a lot sooner than I expected. He said his vacation ended sooner than it was supposed to.

He agreed to meet us at a nearby park and talk with us if we weren't comfortable with having him here. Meeting him at the park was fine. I could use a little fresh air anyway.

At 1:00 Frank and I walked hand in hand to the park to meet Jimmy one on one...on one.

"God. I hope this guy's not a homophobic." Frank told me.
"I don't think he will be." I shrugged my shoulders.
"You don't know that. He might look at us and think we're just two fags."
I snorted a laugh. "I hate to tell you this, Frankie dear, but we ARE fags."
"Shut up. That's not what I meant. Fucker."
I let out another laugh. "Relax, Frankie.Everything will be fine."

I was right. Although, Jimmy was kind of peculiar, I admit. He wore a white shirt, black tie, and an over-sized trench coat. He was quite friendly though. And Frank seemed to like him as well. I think we definitely found our realtor.

Jimmy said he'll e-mail us some houses based he think we may be interested in, based off of what Frank and I told him about what we are looking for.

We came to a compromise, and aren't going to get a huge house since it's just going to be the two of us. Frank agreed that it made no sense to get an over-sized house.

Big houses were way out of what we'll be able to afford anyway. I don't really care about the work we might have to do to a house as long as we don't have do too much interior work. Although, I would definitely be fine with panting every single room. But I don't think Frank would like the idea very much.

Oh well. We can always hire someone to do the dirty work for us. But hopefully, we luck out and are able to find a great house for a decent price that won't cost us all of our limbs.

I never thought I'd be renting a house with Frank. This is way too amazing to handle. I just hope we can stay happy and really put the past behind us and move forward together.

@Left Shark

Glad you like it! I realized it needed a break from all the drama and I thought I should probably put how they met, more detail on that will come in the next chapter.

Love the backstory on how they met <3
