Pov Mikey
After a few hours me and Pete got out of the water and just laid down on our towels. I just looked up to the sky kinda lost in my own thought while basket case was on repeat in my head. Damn that song is good but it really gets stuck in your head.
‘’Damn Mikey, look at them!’’
‘’mmh what?’’ I looked up at Pete who was staring at a group of people in the water. I concentrated more on them and then I could see it were Linsey and Hayley they were hanging with another girl.
‘’Just look at them, I mean they are wearing bikinis and you’re just looking to the sky. They are a lot more interesting than the sky Mikes.’’
‘’Yeah I guess but it’s kinda weird to look at them all the time.’’
‘’Well it’s not when one of them is dating me.’’
‘’you’re not dating one of them.’’
‘’not yet Mikes not yet, but nobody can resist Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III.’’
‘’yeah that’s probably the reason why you never had a girlfriend also what kind of name is that.’’
‘’it’s a good name and you know it.’’ he smirked.
‘’oh their coming out of the water let’s talk to them Mikey.’’ he said while jumping up and walking in their direction. I walked after him and kinda stayed behind him because, well you know why I’m fucking awkward and I will probably embarrass myself again.
‘’Hey ladies.’’ Pete said while standing next to them.
‘’Hey Pete and Mikey, right?’’ Lynz asked. I just nodded and she smiled at me.
‘’I don’t think we met each other yet.’’ He said while looking at the other girls.
‘’My name is Pete and this is Mikey.’’
‘’Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Kitty.’’
‘’Nice to meet you to Kitty.’’ Pete said while he sat down next to them. I didn’t sit down which was a bad idea because now I just awkwardly stood there next to Pete.
‘’so do you like it here?’’ Pete asked.
‘’Yeah it’s cool and the weather is nice.’’ Hayley answered.
‘’Yeah it is did you know each other before this or not?’’
‘’Well Kitty and I knew each other already but we met Hayley here. She is in our cabin and now were friends.’’ Lynz said.
‘’Cool, so are you the only girls in this whole camp?’’ Pete asked
‘’oh no we’re not, but I guess we are the only girls in this side of the camp. We met some other girls at breakfast they are at the north part of the camp though.’’ Kitty said.
‘’there are also a few female leaders, I saw one talking to Mark earlier, and between us I think Mark likes her.’’ Lynz said while smiling and looking at Mark and Tom.
‘’WHAT?! No way!! I thought he and Tom had something going on their kinda cute together.’’ Hayley said.
They all kinda kept talking about that they really thought Tom and Mark were in a relationship, Pete just looked at me and kinda made a face that said ‘Let’s go’. So after a while Pete stood up.
‘’Me and Mikey are gonna look around for a little bit, see you some other time.’’
‘’see yaa!!’’ They said while waving when we walked away.
‘’Well that went good.’’ Pete said.
‘’I didn’t say anything and they started talking about our camp leaders and if they had a relationship or not.’’
‘’well at least you didn’t fall.’’ Pete said while putting an arm around me and laughing. We just walked a bit and then saw some dudes playing volleyball on the little beach thing that was there.
‘’let’s join, it will be fun.’’ Pete said.
‘’well, I can’t really play.’’
‘’me neither but I don’t care.’’
We walked towards them and just watched for a while at the side of the field. When the ball hit the ground Pete started talking.
‘’Hey can we join.’’
‘’yeah of course.’’ a guy with brown hair and a fringe said he also had a little bit of pink in his hair. The other boys walked under the net and stood next to the others.
‘’hi I’m Pete and this is Mikey.’’
‘’I’m alex.’’ The guy with the fringe said again.’’ This are Zack, Rian and Jack.’’
‘’nice to meet you, what’s with the pink though?’’
‘’yeah I lost a bet.’’ Alex said while looking angry at Jack.
‘’It’s not my fault.’’ Jack said. ‘’I mean did you really think you could win a arm wrestling game against zack?’’
I looked at Zack and agreed with Jack. He was kinda bough and Alex was… well let’s just say a ladybug could probably win from him.
‘’nice that you introduce us to guys.’’ A guy from the other group suddenly said. ‘’hi I’m Victor, you can call me Vic though, and this is Mike my baby brother, Jaime and Tony turtle.’’
‘’So wanna play?’’ Rian said. We looked at each other and both nodded. I got in the team with Alex, Jack, Zack and Rian and Pete got in the other one. We weren’t really keeping scores and I wasn’t the only one who was bad at this because actually everyone was just kinda fooling around. After a while we just all sat down and started talking. The weird thing was though I didn’t feel out of place. It was like it was totally okay that I didn’t talk. Zack and Tony were also really quiet but I think they enjoyed themselves aswell. Mark really didn’t lie when he said all the kids on this side of the camp were cool.

also there are a lot of new people in this chapter (all the all time low and pierce the veil people and Kitty ^.^)
