Summer Camp
The lake (part 1)

We arrived at the east side of the camp and there were already a lot of people. Tom and Mark were again standing on a table and waiting for the last few people to arrive. We just talked a little bit until again Tom screamed for our attention.
‘’HEY GUYS! STFU!! Thanks!’’
‘’you really need to stop doing that Tom I will be literally deaf by tomorrow.’’ Mark said annoyed while everyone giggled at them.
‘’So hello everyone, you already know us and I see a few of you already made some new friends but the people you see around you now are your camp side matey’s.’’
‘’OMG did you really just say matey’s, mark?! You’re so freaking old!!’’
‘’I’m only two years older!!’’
‘’yeah but you’re still like a grandpa’’ Tom laughed.
‘’Ignore this dork and you should all be fine but to go back to my story. These are the people you will team up against the other camp side’s and I think we make a great team.’’
‘’yeah all the emotional shit aside now, all the other sides are gonna do boring teambuilding things, and luckily for you guys I convinced Mark that that shit is fucking boring so we’re not gonna do that.’’
‘’yeah it maybe is kinda boring but I still like it and we’re are gonna do it someday soon.’’
‘’whatever today we’re gonna have fun and that’s why we will just go to the lake and swim or do some different shit and tonight we do a bonfire thing.’’
‘’okay so you guys have five minutes to get you’re swimming stuff or not if you don’t want to and then we will walk to the lake together.’’ Mark finished.
Nice swimming, so everyone could see me and I would probably get a tan. Ugh I hate summer. We all just walked to our cabin and got our stuff. Mikey, Ray and Frank were all searching for their swimming trunks. Ray was the first one to find it because his stuff was organised. He walked to the ‘’dressing part’’ of the cabin (it was actually just a little corner thingy where you couldn’t see each other). I sat on my bed doubting if I wanted to swim or not. After Ray, Mikey got in his swimming trunks and when he was done, Frank did to. While Frank was getting his swimming trunks on Mikey said he was meeting pete outside and walked out of the cabin. Ray looked at me and probably saw I wasn’t feeling okay.
‘’What’s wrong Gee?’’ He said while sitting next to me.
‘’Nothing I just don’t like swimming.’’
‘’you mean you’re afraid of water?’’
‘’No I mean I’m afraid of other people, because… well look at my body you wouldn’t wanna show this.’’
‘’Why not you look awesome, well if you’re not gonna swim I’m not gonna swim either.’’
‘’What?! No you should swim.’’
‘’well then you should swim too dude, it’s gonna be awesome.’’
‘’but-‘’
‘’no nothing but, you’re gonna swim and you’re gonna like it. This is just a summer camp. After these weeks it’s gonna be over and you don’t have to see anyone anymore. Have some fun.’’
‘’yeah I guess so, thanks Ray.’’
‘’your welcome, now get dressed Frank is done I see.’’
Frank walked out of the ‘’dressing part thingy’’ in his swimming trunks.
‘’your turn Gerard.’’
‘’aren’t those a little big for you?’’ Ray asked.
‘’yeah for some reason my mom thinks I’m a little bigger, she always gets me stuff that’s way too big.’’ He said while pulling on his trunks.
I got dressed fast and wrapped a towel around my body. We all walked out of the cabin to see everyone standing outside in their swim wear.
‘’Okay everyone is here let’s go!’’ Tom screamed.
We all followed Tom and Mark until we reached an open space in the forest and saw a beautiful lake. It was honestly stunning.
‘’have fun!’’ Tom said while he ran into the water. A big part of the people followed him and just ran into the water. We first searched a place to put our towels. When we found it I wanted to sit down but Ray grabbed my hand and pulled me to the lake.
‘’No Ray I really don’t think I should go swimming.’’
‘’you should it’s fun! Look Mikey is having fun.’’ I looked in the lake and saw Mikey standing next to Pete who was splashing water in his face.
‘’Yeah but I don’t know-‘’
‘’Gee come on it will be fun. Hey Frankie! Help me with gee.’’
Frank came running into our direction and also grabbed my hand then they looked at each other and pulled me into the water.
‘’IT’S FREEZING COLD!!!’’ I screamed. Then we all just laughed and started splashing water at each other. It was honestly the most fun I had in a while and I actually forgot about the fact I wasn’t wearing a shirt. These guys were awesome! I think I actually kinda have friends! Like real friends!
