Pov Mikey
Mom drove our car to the exit of the road. It let us into a forest, I thought it was really pretty but I couldn’t really concentrate on my surroundings as I was terrified of what would be in the camp itself. After a while we came on a parking lot and mom parked the car. We all got out and got our bags. We didn’t say anything to each other. I think we were all terrified and afraid of what would be our summer. We walked from the parking lot to a small wooden shed. In front of it there was a man in a chair talking to another guy who was walking away. As he saw us he stood up and greeted us.
‘’hello there and welcome to Camp Neverland.’’ The man said. ‘’My name is Mark Hoppus and I’m one of the leaders of this camp.’’
None of us said anything and just looked at my mom until she started to speak.
‘’ well hello, these are Mikey, Gerard and Frank and I signed them up under the name Way.’’
‘’ I will check in which cabin you guys are and then I will bring you there.’’ He said as he walked into the shed and looked in a book.
‘’Okay you’re in cabin number 15. You can come with me after you said goodbye to your mother.’’
I turned around and hugged my mom. I almost started crying but I kept myself together and just said bye. Gerard joined the hug while Frank just awkwardly stood next to us watching.
‘’I love you boys.’’ Mom whispered to us.
‘’I love you too mom.’’ Me and Gerard both said at the same time. Then we stopped hugging and she just looked at us for a while.
‘’well I think I just go then.’’ She said. ‘’Don’t forget to brush your teeth guys.’’
‘’Oh My GOD mom just go.’’ Gerard said while laughing. She gave us both one last kiss and went back to the car.’’
‘’Soo now that your mom is gone we can stop all this serious bullshit.’’ Mark suddenly said. ‘’Again I’m Mark and because you’re in cabin 15 I’m your leader. Don’t worry I’m a rad dude, I guess.’’ We all laughed a little bit.
‘’ so just follow me and I will show you your cabin.’’ He said while walking further down the road. ‘’ your cabin is for four person’s so there will already be someone, don’t worry though I checked him out and he is awesome.’’ Shit another person. I didn’t want to sleep with a stranger. I don’t like strangers. I already hated the idea that Frank would be sleeping with us but he was kind of an awesome dude so I was okay with that. But this guy I never met him and I would have to sleep with him in one small room. We suddenly stopped walking and I saw a small cabin in front of us with the number 15. I looked around and I saw a few other cabins around it as well. I also saw a building which was I think the bathroom and I saw some picnic tables with some people sitting on them.
‘’so this is your cabin, I think the other guy is already inside I believe.’’ Mark said. ‘’In a few hours there will be a meeting at the fire place there will we explain more to you guys.’’ Then he turned around an walked away. I looked at Gerard and then at Frank to see who was gonna open the door. Then Gerard made the move and opened it. I saw a room with two bunk beds and a small closet. I could hear some music playing and I recognised it. It was Iron Maiden. Then I saw a boy who was unpacking his stuff. He was wearing a Metallica shirt and I think I have never seen so much hair on one head. He smiled and walked to us.
‘’Hi I’m Ray. Ray Toro.’’ He said while shaking Gerard’s hand.
‘’hi I’m Gerard, this is my brother Mikey and this is Frank.’’ He said while Ray started shaking my and franks hand as well.
‘’ So you like Metallica and iron maiden.’’ Frank said while he shook his hand.
‘’yeah I love them.’’
‘’then I think we’re gonna be good friends Ray.’’ We all laughed a little bit at that because we knew it was true. Maybe this whole camp wasn't gonna be that bad. Then i realised that it weren't just the four of us that were in this camp. So this will probably still be really bad.
