Summer Camp
The bonfire night

The day went very fast because I actually had fun. We swam for a few hours and then sat down on our towels. After we just sat there with us six we were joined by three girls. I remembered two of them because it were the girls Mikey and Pete tried to flirt with. They were actually really cool and super nice so we just talked all afternoon. Around 5 o’clock we saw Mikey and Pete coming our way followed by a lot of people. I was actually really proud of Mikey that he actually met some people. Before they all could sit down Mark and Tom came walking our way.
‘’I see you all know each other now, good.’’ Mark said with a big smile on his face.
‘’Not really Mark, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet to everyone.’’ A boy with black hair and blonde hair. I now saw he was standing next to a guy with a pink fringe, it suited him actually pretty good.
‘’That’s good then we can do an introduction round when we eat.’’ Mark said.
‘’So yeah, if you all can get dressed again and then gather around the fire in front of your cabin’s, we can have dinner.’’ Tom said.
We all walked back to our cabins and got dressed. When we walked out of our cabins we saw that Mark and Tom already had a pretty big fire going on. They also had a barbeque standing next to one of the picnic tables. On that particular picnic table stood all the food. I could see it wasn’t only meat but also some vegan meat stuff. We sat down on the logs that were around the fire and waited for the others to come.
‘’I hope you all had a nice day, it looked like you had, but I understood not all of you had the opportunity to introduce yourselves so that’s what we’re gonna do now.’’
‘’Mark, Jesus can we do that later I’m starving.’’ Tom said
‘’Yeah good idea first food. So you can all grab something and put it on the barbeque. There is some vegan stuff to for the people who don’t eat meat.’’
After we all got something to eat and drink we were all still and eating. While everyone was still eating Tom started to talk.
‘’So introduction, I will start, so Hi I’m Tom Delonge and I’m 23 years old. I do this as a summer job thing because it’s fun and I need money. I play the guitar and listen to a lot of music. Okay next.’’
‘’Hi I’m Mark Hoppus and I’m 25 years old. I also do this as a summer job because I like it and I used to go to this camp when I was younger myself so I wanted to relive that. I play bass and yeah that’s me. By the way you may have noticed you all kinda like the same things that’s because we asked your parents to fill in your hobbies at the subscription paper.’’
Next to Mark was sitting one of the girls Mikey and Pete flirted with. It was the black haired one who had her hair in two pony tails.
‘’Hi I’m Lynz Ballato and I’m 17 years old. I play bass and love art. I like drawing and everything else you would consider art.’’
Next to Lynz was the girl with the bright red hair.
‘’Hi I’m Hayley Williams and I’m 16 years old. I love singing and dying my hair.’’ She said giggling.
‘’hi I’m kitty, I’m 17 and I play drums.’’
Next to Kitty was sitting a really big guy, he looked pretty scary and at the same time he looked like someone who couldn’t hurt a fly. He started talking and to my surprise he talked really soft.
‘’Hi I’m Zack Merrick and I’m 15 and play bass. I also really like skate boarding and working out.’’
‘’he also really likes ketchup!’’ said the guy sitting next to him. Then he introduced himself.
‘’I’m Jack Barakat and I’m also 15 years old. I play guitar and I love green day, girls and the home alone movies.’’
So we went further and everyone introduced themselves. The fun thing was everyone played instruments and listened to the same kind of music. These people were all really nice and they were a few of the first people I didn’t hate. We just talked the rest of the night about music, bands and movies and actually had a lot of fun. At the end of the night I guess around 12:30, Mark stood up and stood on the log he first sat on. We all looked at him but before he could say something Tom interrupted him.
‘’You don’t have to stand on a fucking log when you wanna say something Mark, we are with a group of 19 people you can just ask everyone to listen.’’ He really had a weird accent.
‘’well yeah I guess so.’’ He said while he sat back down. ‘’So I wanted to say that tomorrow we start the ‘’battle’’ against the other camp sites. We maybe not be the best at sports but I think we have a great chance of winning because I think we are a great team.’’
‘’Tomorrow we have a beach volleyball and soccer contest by the lake, so that should be fun.’’ Tom said
‘’It’s pretty late now so I think it’s a good idea we all go to bed so tomorrow we are all rested so we can win this. But for now goodnight.’’ Mark said.
We all stood up and walked to our cabins saying goodnight to everyone. We got into our cabin and got in our pyjamas.
‘’What did you actually do all day Mikey? We haven’t seen you and Pete all afternoon.’’ Ray asked when we all laid in bed.
‘’oh we played volleyball with the other dudes.’’
‘’you did something sporty? Voluntary?’’ Frank asked sarcastically.
‘’yeah and it was actually a lot of fun!’’ Mikey said proudly.
‘’so you really did volleyball all afternoon?’’ I asked him.
‘’well actually we only played for about thirty minutes then we just sat down and started talking.’’
We all laughed about that, I knew my little brother wouldn’t do sports for that long.
‘’wait, wait, wait.’’ Frank suddenly said. ‘’You talked?’’
‘’shut up frank.’’ Mikey said while throwing his pillow in franks face.
‘’guy’s stop it.’’ Ray said after a while because they kept throwing their pillows at each other.
‘’Okay MOM!!’’ Frank said.
‘’Aawh does baby Frankie miss his mommy?’’ Ray said grinning
‘’shut up ray.’’ Frank said sticking his tongue out.
‘’well if mother and son are done arguing can we go to sleep?’’ I said.
‘’yeah I’m kinda tired.’’ Mikey said. ‘’goodnight.’’
‘’goodnight.’’ We all said in response.
I turned around and found a good spot when I suddenly thought about tomorrow. Tomorrow we had to play against the other sides of the camp. Bob was in one of the other sides. How the hell was I gonna hide our school bully from Mikey when we had to play against him. Or better said how was I gonna protect him?!

hiiii, I hope you still like the story. This chapter is kinda boring but the next one will have some ''action''. I was again way to lazy to read it again so sorry for mistakes or if just doesn't make any sense. Also this story suddenly has a lot of subscribers (for what i'm used to) and also a lot of views, so thank you all so much for that ^.^
