Summer Camp

Finally summer! I hate it because it’s way too hot and there is way too much sun but there is at least no school. A few months just me. A few months where I don’t have to bother about anything but films, books and comics. I walked out of the school alone and put on some music. I normally walked home with Mikey but he was already at home because he was done earlier. I just thought of what film I would watch first. I could literally do anything. No homework, no essay’s, no people! I caught myself actually smiling. I hadn’t done that in a long time. School just isn’t really my thing. I don’t like the classes, I don’t like the teachers and most of all I don’t like the students. I normally just spend my time drawing. The only one I ever really talk to is Mikey and he is my brother so that doesn’t really count. I almost walked pass my own house because I was so lost in my thoughts. I walked inside and saw Mikey and my mom sitting in the kitchen. I smiled at Mikey when I looked at him but he didn’t smile back. I saw on his face that there was something wrong. I quickly sat down next to him.
‘’What’s wrong?’’ I asked my mom when after she gave me a cup of coffee.
‘’Well this summer is gonna be a little different then what we had planned.’’ She said. When Mikey heard that he just laid his head down on the table and I saw a tear running down his face.
‘’My boss asked me if I could help out somewhere else in the country and because of that I will be gone the first three weeks.’’
‘’So what has that to do with our summer holiday?’’ I asked her.
‘’Well I couldn’t just let you guys home alone you’re only 17 and your brother is just 14, so I arranged something with a colleague and we thought it would be a great idea to send you two and her son as well to a summer camp.’’ When she said that I understood why Mikey was crying.
‘’A SUMMER CAMP!! MOM WE’RE FINALY FREE FROM SCHOOL AND ALL THE PEOPLE THERE AND YOU SEND US TO SUMMER CAMP!!’’
‘’Gerard Way sit down and stop screaming! It will be fun, there will be nice people there and there are a lot of sport activities.’’
‘’Yeah they will probably be just as nice as at our school.’’ I said sarcastically.
‘’and wait did you just say sport!? Mom you know we hate that.’’
‘’It will be good for you two to move a little and also new friends would be nice to.’’
‘’Mom can’t we just stay home? I’m 17 I can take care of myself and Mikey.’’
‘’No you can’t. It is three weeks, that is a long time.’’
‘’but mom..’’
‘’no I don’t wanna hear anything now. Just pack your stuff because we will leave tomorrow morning.’’
‘’but what…’’
‘’GERARD!! Just pack your bags!’’
I stood up and walked angrily to my room. I sat down on my bed and wanted to punch the wall. How could she do this to us, she knows we hate stuff like this. Then my door opened slowly, it was Mikey. He just stood there in the door looking down at the floor. I stood up and hugged him.
‘’Gerard… I don’t want to go… I don’t want more bullies… I don’t want to be a punching bag again… not in the summer holiday.’’ He started crying again and I just hugged him.
‘’you won’t be Mikey, I will protect you.’’
After a while of just hugging he said to me he was going to pack his bags and I did the same. When I was done I put on my pyjamas and laid down on my bed. This summer holiday is gonna be the worst one ever. I just wanted to be alone and sit in my room. Now I have to protect myself and my brother and I have to sport. This is gonna be hell!

this chapter isn't that much fun but I promise this story will be happy ^.^
I don't know if i want to put some romance in yet but this story is mainly gonna be about friendship and stuff.
there will also be a lot of people from other bands so if you really want someone in here suggest it and i maybe put them in :)
