Love and Guns

The sun shine through dust blinds and shone into Gerard's eyes, waking him up. He stretched out his limbs, and yawned, then slowly opened his eyes. The grey ceiling above him was one that was not familiar. He felt a sudden panic in his heart. He then realized that there was someone lightly snoring next to him. He turned his head and was met with the soft face of the boy he had met the night before. Gerard remembered his name to be Frank.
Gerard couldn't help but let his eyes trace over the tattoos that littered Frank's small body. Frank began to move and then his eyes popped open. Gerard smiled down at him.
"Good morning." He said to him.
Frank returned the smile and slowly pulled himself up.
"Good morning. It's Jared, right?" He asked.
"Gerard."
"Oh, okay. Good morning, Gerard." He said with a small smile.
"Would you like some breakfast?" He asked. Gerard nodded his head and reached down to find his pants. He stood up and swiftly pulled them up over his pale hips, and Frank did the same.
Gerard followed Frank out of the small wooden door and into a long hallway. he led him into the kitchen, an Gerard say down at a small red table in the corner of the room.
"coffee?" Frank asked.
"Please!"
Frank giggled at him as he started the coffee maker.
"Would you like some cereal?" Frank asked him.
"Sure."
Frank walked over to the small table with two bowls of cereal and one cup of coffee.
"Thank you."

The boys made small talk over breakfast, then Frank told Gerard he needed to be getting to work, so Gerard left. But before he did, he got Frank's number.

On the drive home, Gerard couldn't stop smiling. He was pretty proud of himself for getting a guy like Frank. He was hot! His big brown eyes made Gerard blush every time they fell onto him, and he couldn't get enough of it.
Gerard was hoping it wouldn't just be a one night stand.

When he arrived back at home, he noticed both his father and brother were home, which was strange since they were always working. They were sitting at the kitchen table looking over different types of guns. There was a few guns laid out on the table.
"This isn't something you guys could've done at the office?" He said to them.
"Gerard, this is important. I need to get all of this memorized before I go in, so leave us alone. You're too small minded for these types of things."
Gerard was shocked. Mikey never spoke to him like that. He watched at his father smiled at Mikey, then glared at Gerard.
"Go color a picture or something, kid."
Gerard stormed up to his room and slammed the door, suddenly feeling like a small child. It isn't fair that his father treats him like that. It's not like it's his fault he is the way he is. He thought it made him unique. So what if he doesn't want to be in a business where everything is illegal? That would be a good thing to most parents!
He laid down on his bed with a huff. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts, then found Frank's.
He sent him a quick message to see if the boy would want to go on a date sometime.
Gerard's heart was beating quicker than ever.
He felt his phone buzz and he slowly lifted it up.

From Frank: Sure! Sounds cool. Friday night?

Gerards face parted into a huge smile.

To frank: I'll pick you up at 8.

It was only Tuesday, so Gerard had a few days to wait, but he was more excited than ever.
