The Only Hope For Me Is You

The bell rang at 3:40 on the dot, i had agreed to meet Mikey at the front of school, time slowly passed until 3:55, i'd tried ringing him but there was no answer.
I went back into school calling his name, i got a few odd looks from teachers, i walked passed the janitors closet and heard a muffled noise from inside......oh please let it be him.....i opened the closet and found a beaten up Mikey gagged and tied up

" shit..what happened to you?" i said while untieing him and took the gag out of his mouth
" nothing" he got up and walked out the closet towards the front of school
" Mikey, you have to tell me" i grabbed his arm and he flinched away
" ow..that hurt"
" now explain, or wait until we get out of school"
"no" Mikey was being so stubborn
" Let's go " i helped him along as he kept looking around himself

we walked out of school and i dragged Mikey into the park and sat him down
" Mikey, you have to tell me what's happened"
" i don't want to "
" Please tell me" i looked into his eyes and they started to tear up
" fine, Lee beat me up and told me to kill myself, he was also making fun of you and i got annoyed with him and pushed him over, then i passed out and the next thing i knew i was tied up and gagged " a tear rolled down his cheek and i felt helpless
" Lee's a jerk, if he tries to do anything to you again then find me, what he did was wrong, but what did he say about me "
" you don't want to know"
" yes i do "
" he said you're a gay wanker that looks like a tomato and i stood up for you because i won't let someone speak about you like that " he looked down at his bloody hands
" thanks....come here " i said pulling him into a hug but trying to avoid his bruises " it will get better adventually "
" Gerard, you're so good to me, thank you, i love you"
" i love you too, now lets get home " i said smiling and ruffling his hair
" okay " he said smiling back, i hadn't seen him smile all day until now
