When I got there I greeted by a drunk freshman who I barely knew. I looked around for my “friends”. They were people I hung out with before I met Mikey back in grade 9, Gerard was three years older than us and I didn’t really see him that often. He was 17 and running around dealing and doing drugs just like he is now. I walked around and chatted with a few people trying to fit in with the drunk and high kids who were most likely are going to OD tonight. I hadn’t grabbed a drink or any type of drug yet. I am most likely to just stick with weed. I’ve never been a big fan of hard drugs unlike Gerard and frank.

“Hey MJ!” said a girl named victoria. I can’t believe she still calls me MJ (it stands for Mary Jane, you probably already new that) it wasn’t even my name. in fact my name doesn’t even have Mary in it. She was a bitch but when she was high she seemed to forget we hated each other. I faintly smiled “Hey Victoria”. Her brown hair and blond highlights glisten in the dim light of the party. “Wanna hit this real quick?” she asked shoving a pink and orange swirled pipe into my hands. She grabbed a Sativa from her zip lock bag and put it in the bowl piece. I didn’t know if I wanted to be high tonight. “it’s just one hit” I told myself. I sighed taking my lighter from my back pocket. I put the mouth piece agents my lips. I struck the lighter and took a deep breath in. I felt the mellow smoke enter my lungs burning them ever so slightly in the process. I held it in for 5 seconds letting the THC pollute my mind. I exhaled watching the wispy smoke come out of my mouth, drifting in the air slowly. Victoria smiled giggling at me. Handed her the pipe and smiled. “Do you feel better now?” she asked. Slightly dizzy from the high I was getting I nodded giggling lightly. “I’m going to see Justin in the bathroom he has coke on him…wanna come?” she asked raising her eyebrows. “No I don’t do hard drugs” I said politely. She frowned “there funnnnn” she said dragging out the n. “No thanks I think I’m going to go see tiffany” I said pointing in the direction she was in.Victoria shrugged and left me standing by the drinks table. I stumbled over to the couch the euphoric feeling still lingering around me.

I hadn’t seen Gerard all night. I don’t know why but I was kind of mad that I hadn’t. He was probably up stairs with Brittney or maybe even Rachel. I hadn’t bothered to check up there because that’s where shit gets real. Down here is where the stoners and the freshman hang out because all there here for is weed. Upstairs is meth, coke, Molly, and lots of other drugs that are taken and distributed between hard core drug addicts.
I looked over my shoulder and was met the dark hazel eyes of Gerard. He smiled at me and winked. He was clearly high and had Brittney and Rachel at his side. I just gave him a blank look, making him frown. I quickly look back t the coffee table where I had been staring before. I took a final drag of my cigarette and put it out on the ash tray beside me.
I felt the couch dip down beside me. I looked over and was surprised to see Gerard. I looked towards Brittney and Rachel to see them giving a glare towards me. I rolled my eyes at them and flipped them off. I looked back towards Gerard. “Can I help you?” I asked annoyed he shifted in his seat and sighed “ Jane I need you back” he but his hand of my cheek. i stared at him blankly “Gerard, just go” I responded. I looked away but found my face being forced back around. Gerard stared deep into my eyes. My heart speeds up as he lent closer and closer towards my face. I closed my eyes and felt his warm lips agents mine. I found myself kissing back. He pulled me closer to him so I was half sitting on his lap. We both pulled away for air.
