I love you, you love me lets go out and do Molly

While walking away from the music shop I reminded myself of the party I was going to attend this week. I then remembered Gerard was supposed to be there. If he was I would most likely avoided him, or he would try to talk to me… I guess I should head home and figure out what I’m wearing. I walked down the main street of Bellville getting closer and closer to my house. It was a good sized house that needed some fixing up but it wasn’t that band. I saw my mom out front checking the mail box for bills. “Hey Boo Bear” she said smiling softly at me. I smiled at the use of my nick name. “Hey mum” I responded. “Donna called today…” she said quietly. I raised my eye brows “she said Mikey couldn’t get a hold of you and she told me about what happened with Gerard.” She put her hand on my shoulder “Ma it’s not that big of a deal if it was I would talk to you about it” I gave a weak smile. “Okay… But you should really talk to Mikey he’s stopped by 3 times today asking where you were” she said giving a concerned look. “Yeah I’ll talk to him...” I said making my way towards the front door. As soon as I walked in I was met with the smell of alcohol and my dad’s favourite deodorant, “hey, I’m in here Hun!” my dad called from the kitchen. I walked down the hall admiring the pictures of our family framed on the wall. I waked in to the kitchen to see him poring coffee into a too go mug “you have a case today?” I asked him pulling a coke out of the fridge “yeah some guy attempted to kill his ex-girlfriend because she cheated on him” he said straightening his tie. “Shit… whose side are you on?” I asked “the victim” he stated simply. “Jane I have all the alcohol in the safe in the basement, don’t let her go down there give her the fermented tea if she wants something to drink.” He said kissing my forehead. “Okay” I got the fermented tea out of the fridge (yes fermented tea is a thing, it taste like beer but does not get you drunk). I approached the stairs to get ready. But before I could I heard my name being called from the front door. “Jane?” Mikey called out I stopped In my place shocked. I turned slowly to see Mikey his hair peeking out from his beanie and his glasses almost falling off his nose. I just realised I had left my best friend in a bad situation…I left him when he came out to his brother and when he needed support the most. I am the most selfish person on earth for doing that. “I-I’m sorry” I spit out. His face changed from natural poker face to concern in seconds. “I left you when you needed support the most. That was a selfish thing for me to do and I’m sorry… I wasn’t thinking” he smiled “It’s okay. But I think Gerard and frank hate you more” those words stung, I wouldn’t blame them for being made at me I was being a dick about it. But it doesn’t matter I don’t want to talk to them and I don’t have to talk to them. No one can make me go and talk to them. “I’m going to that party tonight Mikey I gotta get ready” I said sadly “okay…Jane” he said furrowing his eyebrows together. “I think I just lost my best friend” he said turning. I shot up “M-Mikey?” I asked “I’ll talk to you later” he said leaving my house. I wanted to cry. I just wanted to give up already. I brought this on myself it is my fault. Because of my little pity party I cause this. Now I have to fix it. I ran to my front door and flung it open. Mikey was just walking off my porch. I ran towards him and jumped on top of him. I warped my arms around his chest and burrowed my head into his neck. “Jane what are yo-“cut him off “don’t leave” I mumbled “not now…not ever” I tightened my grip on him “Your my best friend and I love you. You’re my brother and I love you. So I’m asking you right here and right now…don’t go” he moved me so I was in front of him now. “I love you too and I promise I’ll never leave you” he said hugging me.
