The Poets Screamed For Us

When Frank opened his eyes, he immediately wished he hadn't. Opening his eyes meant he was alive, and that was something he really didn't want to be right now.
He looked around the room and decided he was in a hospital. He looked across the room and saw Gerard snoring away in a chair. He was happy knowing that Gerard was with him. He didn't want to wake him up, but he also didn't know what else to do with himself, so he let out a light cough. Gerard stirred in his chair and his eyes pulled themselves open.
When he noticed Frank was sitting up staring at him, he hopped out of his chair and ran over to his side.
Frank opened his arms for Gerard to hug him, but instead was met with a painful slap to his face.
He let out a yelp of pain and gingerly touched his face with his fingers.
"Don't you ever do that again, Frank! Do you hear me?" Gerard yelled at him. Frank opened his mouth to speak, but Gerard pushed his mouth onto Frank's and kissed him. He threw his arms around his neck and pulled him in. Gerard pulled away a little bit and rested his head on Frank's.
"I love you so so much, Frankie. I swear to any god that will listen, if you ever do that again, I will kick your ass." He said, then smile lightly.
"I love you too, Gee. I love you so much and I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I'm so fucking scared."
"I'll do the treatment. I talked to the doctor and I'm going to do it. I'm doing it because I love you."
Frank's tugged up into a wide grin. "You don't know how much this means to me. You really don't."

Frank spent a few more hours in the hospital, so the doctors could make sure he was safe. He was finally released and he and Gerard drove to their little house.
Gerard had scheduled his treatment for the next day, so he and Frank could spend the rest of the current day together, and they did just that. They watched movies and ate pizza and just overall enjoyed each other's company. Gerard never left Frank's side for fear of being without him even fore a few minutes. Frank truly was the love of his life and Gerard knew that no matter what, he and Frank were made for each other.
