“My pleasure, after all that’s what friends are for. Now if you don’t mind moving a little, I need my space if you want him to live.” Sir. Fluffy spoke motioning for me to sit in a chair.

I sighed as I sat down in the leather chair, I watched as he began to stitch Gerard’s horrid wound, weaving the black string in and out. I am surprised by the fact that Gerard has not awoken yet due to the amount of pain he’s going through right now. But his pallid face remains expressionless and still, looking at peace. “Finished” Sir. Fluffy breathed as he wrapped cloth around Gerard’s mid-section.

“Is he going to live?” I asked a look of concern plastered on my face as I stepped closer to Gerard.

“I did all that I could do for him, his life now rests in the hands of fate.” Sir. Fluffy stated while raising his paw to Gerard’s neck and checking his pulse. “His heart still beats.” He said.
I breathe a slight sigh of relief, knowing that I may get to speak to the arrogant, over bearing, and foolish boy once more. I bend down next to him as Sir. Fluffy begins to leave the room. “I’ll leave you alone with your little lover.” He voiced as I let out yet another scoff at his comment. I took hold of Gerard’s hand tightly grasping it, praying for him to open his hazel eyes once again. My eyelids start to feel heavy as sleep takes hold of me, I rest my head upon Gerard’s chest as I fall asleep to the comforting sounds of his still-beating heart.
