Of course Mikey was mad at Frank. How dare he come into Gerard's life, judge everything they did, break their heart multiple times and then suddenly show interest in them? He didn't even know Gerard wasn't a guy!
Mikey knew Gerard was scared of telling people, because they were scared of being judged, but still. If Frank was so close to them, he'd know.
"Gerard." He whispered, stroking his bother's hair. "Mom hates me here, you understand, don't you? I know you hate it here too. Needles. Frank was here yesterday, wasn't he? I don't like him, not at all, Gee. He'll hurt you. Be careful." "Mikey." Gerard croaked before clearing his throat and trying again. "Water?"
"Course." Mikey reached over Gerard to grab the water he put there before. In three large gulps, the water was finished and Gerard felt better.
"I know Frank's a little...weird. But he was here yesterday and he was so scared. Mikey...I think I love him..."
"Gerard. Please. You choose him out of the guys falling at your feet?"
"They don't like me.." Gerard murmured. "They like Gee." Gee was Gerard's more feminine personality. It was still they/them, but they wore dressing and cute things. Gerard wore jeans and converse.
"Gerard..." Mikey warned. "Be careful. I don't trust you with thy guy."
"Mikey," A new voice piped up. "I love him too."
