just another killjoy story

‘’I thought you didn’t want to tell it yesterday because of red so I thought this was the perfect moment to ask because you’re alone now.’’
I wanted to tell him but I just didn’t know how to start. It was a long and very painful story. I decided to just start from the beginning from the moment where we got arrested.
‘’Well it’s a long story but it all started at normal Wednesday when we wanted to enter the school. There was a row in front of the door and apparently everyone now had to go to some kind of scanner to get inside. We didn’t really think about it then but this was of course to check if everybody took their pills. We didn’t so I think this is how they found out about us. The day at school was just a normal day but when we came home we mentioned something was wrong. The front door was open. We walked inside and saw that there were three draculoid’s there. Two of them were holding our parents and the other one ran to us and grabbed us. They threw us in a van and we drove away. We then got thrown into a prison cell. We were there for a few hours together with our parents and then they got them out of our cell. Me and Red just sat in that cell for a week and we only saw draculoids if they brought us food. The other people in the cell next to us were changing every day. There were new people in that cell every day but we never got taken out of ours.’’
‘’do you know who those people were? Do you know what happened to them?’’ Party asked.
‘’ I didn’t know them I guess they were just normal people just like us. But they never came back so I think… well I think… they got taken out.’’
‘’I’m sorry.’’ He said when he saw I started tearing up a bit.
‘’it’s okay. Well we were there for about a week and then they took us to another cell. In this cell we saw draculoids more often. They did horrible things to us there. I didn’t want to let anything happen to Red so in the beginning I took everything. We had to get injections and they just started using weird chemicals on us. After a few days they thought it was fun to kick us to. Later they also started to harm Red. Then it is just a whole black hole for me I think the drugs and chemicals made me forget everything. I don’t know how long we’ve been there I only know it was like hell.’’
‘’I’m so sorry for you guys it must have been horrible.’’
‘’yeah it was, that’s why I don’t want to talk about it with Red around she is just so young. I have to protect her she is my little sister. She doesn’t have any family left but me.’’
‘’I know what you mean I have the same with Kobra. Do you still know how you got saved?’’
‘’A little bit. I just remember mom and dad opening the cell door one day and got us out. They helped us run to the front door and ran outside with us. We ran to the walls of the city and just before we were all out they got shot. I just remember our mom screaming that we had to run, that we had to run forever and as far as we could. So that is what we did. We ran and well you know the rest then you found us.’’
‘’ You have to know your parents loved you very much and that they were really brave.’’
‘’ Yeah I know. What were they like as.. you know.. as killjoys?’’
‘’Well they were’’ Party suddenly stopped talking and stopped the car. He got out really fast and ran to something that was laying on the road. I looked again at was he was running to and saw it wasn’t something, It was someone. I got out of the car as well and ran to the body.
‘’Oh MY GOD!!’’ I screamed and started crying.
‘’what?!’’ Party asked.
‘’That’s a friend of mine, he was at my school, he is my best friend. Is he still alive?’’
‘’yeah he is still breathing but we need to get him to Jet soon.’’ Party said while lifting him up. I ran back to the car and opened the back door. Party laid him down and we both got back in the front. He turned the car and we drove back to the diner. When we arrived Fun ghoul, Missile and Red were outside. Fun came walking to the car and when Party came out he saw the body laying in the back. He didn’t say anything and just helped Party getting him inside. Red came walking to me and hugged me.
‘’Who is that? What happened?’’ she asked worried.
‘’We were just driving and we found him on the road. It’s Jim, like actual Jim.’’
‘’wait Jim?! You mean Jim as in Jim your best friend?’’
I just started crying and hugged her again. My best friend was in this diner and that wasn’t a good thing. Instead of him being safe in battery city, he was now here almost dying.

Notes

I don't know why but i really didn't want to write this chapter and it was a big pain in the ass for me but here it is. It is probbably not that good but i need it to continue the story.
I hope you still like this story and i hope the next chapter will be more fun to write ^.^
