just another killjoy story

I sat at the bar next to Missile when I heard the car drive away. I ate the last bit of my power pup and stood up. I stretched my legs a little bit and said to the rest I was going to the bathroom. When I came back from the bathroom I walked passed Kobra’s room so I looked inside to see how he was. I saw he was awake and just staring at the sealing.
‘’hi Kobra.’’
‘’Red!!’’ he said happy. ‘’Come in ,please I’m super bored.’’
‘’okay.’’ I said and sat down next to his mattress.
As I sat down he wanted to sit up as well but he had too much pain so had to stay down.
‘’I wanted to hug you but I can’t.’’
‘’that’s okay, you don’t have to…’’
‘’No it’s not okay. You saved my life and the life’s of the others and I can’t even thank you properly.’’
He looked me in the eyes and smiled.
‘’Thank you Red. You’re so strong and brave for someone your age.’’
‘’thank you Kobra, this means a lot to me.’’
‘’We haven’t really talked yet have we?’’
‘’No not really I haven’t really talked to anyone yet. I mean I have talked to them but I don’t know them yet.’’
‘’Well we’re kind of a family right now, so tell me something about you. Tell me something about before all this happened.’’
‘’family?’’
‘’Yes of course family, you maybe don’t see us as your family yet but we, or at least I see you and your sister as a part from the group. Sooo you’re family.’’
I started to tear up a little bit. I had no idea we were already accepted. I didn’t think they would ever accept us. They don’t even know us.
‘’Hey don’t cry, it’s okay. We are all killjoys so if you want it or not we are all kind of your brothers now. You don’t have to be related to each other to be family you know. A family isn’t a thing that can be explained by a dictionary. A family is a group of people you love and trust.’’
I hugged him after he said that. I didn’t know Kobra had so much in him. I never heard him talk before. Again, I heard him talk but not like this. He was showing love and something more than Kobra Kid. Kobra Kid is a quiet but badass Killjoy. This was a human talking again.
‘’aaah!!’’ Kobra screamed because I hugged him to hard.
‘’sorry Kobra.’’ I said and smiled to him. He smiled back.
‘’You’re a really special human Kobra.’’ I said.
‘’well you’re as well otherwise you wouldn’t be here in the desert fighting for the good.’’
We both smiled. Then Jet came walking in.
‘’ooh sorry, am I interrupting you two.’’
‘’no no no it’s okay, It’s your turn with Kobra now.’’ I laughed.
‘’oh no are you going to refresh the bandages again. I rather have Red here she doesn’t hurt me.’’ Kobra laughed. I wanted to walk out of the room but before I did Kobra said ‘’Thank you’’ one last time.
I walked into the main area again and saw missile and Fun sitting at the table playing a board game. I joined them and watched the game.
‘’Is this what you do normally as well? I mean just sit inside and play board games?’’ I asked Fun Ghoul.
‘’Well not really, but the situation changed. With Kobra wounded and you two here we can’t really go away. Normally we go into the dessert to search some stuff or to buy some food. Sometimes we also visit other killjoys.’’
‘’I winnnn!!!’’ Missile suddenly screamed.
‘’what!? How did you do that!?’’
‘’Doesn’t matter how I did it I just won Fun.’’ Missile said while she stuck her tongue out.
‘’well okay than, game over for me. Shall we do some gun stuff now Red?’’
‘’yeah, that’s okay.’’
We went outside and missile took some cans with her. She started to pile them up and I got ready to shoot again, but before she had even piled them all we saw, Party’s car coming our way. Fun walked towards the car and you could see of his face he was really worried.
‘’Fun calm down It’s just Party.’’ Missile said.
‘’yeah I know but their back way to early, this can’t be good.’’

here it is a whole new chapter :) I hope you still like it. there isn't that much happening in the story right now but i promise it will get better ^.^
