Wipe Away Those Tears of Blood

Gerard's POV

I awoke in Frankie's arms. I tried to move but it hurt sooo much. Instead, I moved my head, trying to work out where I was.

"I took you to hospital honey. You were so hurt that I had to. The doctor'll see you in a minut, sugar." Frankie whispered softly into my ear.

"Gerard Way to room ten please," the intercom said.

Frank's POV

We stood up and I led Gee to what was supposed to be room ten. We knocked on the door and the Doctor opened it. Wow, I thought. This guy was cute, but I would never pick him (or anyone else)
over Gee.

"Hello, I'm Dr Quinn, so what happened?"

I explained everything while Gee just sat on the hard plastic chair with a pained look on his face.

"Oh well, if that's the case, then get Gerard to rest, don't make him walk anywhere, or take part in any physical activity. Here, put some ice on that eye, it looks swollen.Come back after a week, we need to see how he's doing. Don't make him walk anywhere, okay sweeties?" Dr Quinn said.

He held out his hand along with an ice pack, and I saw a ring on his finger.

"I'm sorry, but are you married?" I asked out of sheer curiosity.

"Yes, and to a very beautiful man too. Wow, I love him!" Dr Quinn said. The door suddenly swung open.

"Kellin!! I love youuuu!!" A short man about the age of 28 sang.

"Hey hun, I love you too. Guys, this is my amazing husband, Vic Fuentes-Quinn. Vic, this is my patient Gerard and his boyfriend, Frankie. You know, we should meet up in town or something, like a double date. We can talk about stuff, like relationships, and movies, and cookies. It'll be fun!" Kellin said exitedley.

He told me to take Gee home and he gave us his personal number, saying that we need to go on that 'date' and talk.

~~~~~~~~~~THE NEXT MORNING ~~~~~~~~~

"Gee, honey, wake up" I try to wake Gerard, but he's dead to the world.

He looks beautiful, with the sunlight iluminating his features. He mumbles something that sounds a lot like 'I love you'. He slowly, as if his eyelids were very heavy, opens his eyes and smiles up at me. I smile back, and I for once, I feel plain happiness.
