I'm Not OK (I Promise)

The beginning of this story is quite a tragic one.

Helena Mulgan was just your average fifteen year old girl who had a loving mom & an awesome twin sister named Ashton. The two were inseparable.

Why isn't their dad in the picture?

You see, he died while serving in the military when their mom was only six months pregnant with them. So the mom honored his wish of having one of the twins named after his sister: Helen. This is how Helena got her name. Ashton was their dads middle name.

But now back to where the story gets worse.

Three years ago, when she was Twelve, Helena got the most horrific news.

When she was at cheer practice, the coach pulled her aside, because the cops wanted to talk to her.

“Miss. Mulgan, I'm sorry to inform you that your mom & sister were involved in a accident. They died on impact.”

This tore Helena all to pieces. Her & Ashton had dreams of one day meeting their idols: My Chemical Romance. And now those dreams turned to dust.

A few days later, Helena started hearing voices & was confined to a psychiatric hospital after the voices told her to hurt herself.

A doctor by the name of John Penbrooke diagnosed her with Schizophrenia.

Helena had become a mute, but would only talk to John.

John offered to take Helena home with him so she could have continuous psychotherapy, in which she agreed.

Now on medication, Helena has come out of her shell. She talks more, but is considered a loner at her high school. She still listens to MCR, and has her own dream of meeting them herself.

She has plans of going to their concert tomorrow.

Will it be fun? Or will it be a disaster?
